Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Upon arrival, the party of 10 plus 2 kids were very pleased with the overall setup and condition of the house. Very modern, open and conducive for a weekend getaway with a large group. The house was equipped with everything you might need (pots and pans were a little too worn, knives were very dull). Able to fit Suburban and two wagons in garage. Rooms were great, however, bottom floor got a bit cold as the heater wasn't reaching that part of the house. No big issues at all. In discussions with the rental agent I said that our main goal was to have a place where 8 adults could be together but not crowded. The main floor of this house is open and very large. You can be cooking in the kitchen at one end and others can be watching TV, playing cards, etc....you each have your own area but it's all one space. Location is fantastic.The house would be even better if it had a hot tub for soaking after skiing, if the stereo worked, and if the master closet were accessible. Also, the hot water heater could be larger to accommodate the five bathrooms. Otherwise, a beautiful, clean, large home! Stayed for 7 days in December, 2010 I rented this beautiful house on New Year's and I was very dissapointed because Mr. Jeren Gunter, the guy who rented the house steal my deposit arguing some extra cleaning fee and a list of things to steal my $500 deposit. If you have the opportunity please rent somewhere else like "Lake Tahoe Accommodations"or call the Lake Tahoe Reservation Bureau so you can skip dealing with thiefs.
