This studio underwent a full 5 star renovation in Oct 2010. Granite Countertops and 46 inch LCD TV add to the luxurios experience. Unit features slopeside views from the third floor balcony.The Ironhorse Resort, is a full service Ski Resort which has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable right on premisis. There is an indoor/outdoor heated pool for the kids and 2 large outdoor hot tubs for the grownups as well as a health club with steam rooms and showers. A full service ski shop centrally located on the property allows easy access from every Iron Horse Condo. You can rent all your ski or board equipement including helmets, buy ski clothing or get a full tune. The on site bar and restaurant provides a cozy place to meet other guests over your fovorite drink or order a meal to stay or go!!. They have food choices ranging from gourmet pizza, prime rib steaks and pineapple shrimps. You can also just simply relax on a leather couch by the fireplace in the lounge which features free hot chocolate or coffee. Washers and Dryers are available on the second floor of D building.

The location on the mountain is great and we really like the pool and fitness room. Our only complaint was how sparsely equiped the kitchen was - we could have used more than 4 cups, plates etc so we didn't have to wash after each use. Also we were surprised there were no coffee filters. However, we had a great stay there and we would consider staying there again. Slopes were very close; however, I had a couple beginners with me and while they could ski out to the base on a green, they couldn't ski back in to the condo because they had to ski blues to get there. Great Place, great management company. A guest from Fulshear, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2012 Nick and Charlotte were wonderful to work with, we got there early and as no one was in the unit, Nick came right over to let us in before our time. Same thing happened at the end of our stay. I asked about leaving bags in a secure location and since the unit wasn't booked for another day, Nick let us keep our bags in the room until the shuttle picked us up. Overall the condo was really clean and the location was nice. A short walk to the village and slopes right outside the complex. Perfect for a couple. Our bus got us into Winter Park several hours before our scheduled check in, but Charlotte and her husband were a huge help and got us a temporary code to get in early. The unit was clean and cozy with some nice updates and furniture. We could easily walk right into the village at the base of the mountain, or take the shuttles into town which we did for dinners. Overall an awesome place to stay with slopeside views and convenience, at a great price! Would love to come back.
