Family friendly resort "KNAUS Campingpark Wingst". In the district of Wassermühle, directly by the woods edge, in the countryside. In the complex: reception, restaurant, shops, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra), bike rental. Supermarket 3 km, railway station "Wingst" 1 km, outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool 170 m. Tennis, tennis club 200 m, riding stables 2.5 km. Please note: car essential. Entertainment in high season. Hiking and cycling paths from the park. The 4 star camping park is located on a large complex (4 ha) and has a separate section with holiday houses including 5 semi-detached houses grouped around a kids' play area (lawn). The vast complex also offers a youth club (opened daily, no supervision), mini-golf (extra), football pitch and trout pond (fishing permit) for shared use. SPECIAL OFFER: FREE DAILY ENTRANCE to the sport and fun park (300 m away) with North Germany's longest summer toboggan run and wild water ride as well as to the zoo (1.5 km away). For stays of 1 week or more: 1 free entrance to the outdoor- and indoor pools including 100 m water slide, 30% discount on all following visits. On request: Bicycle rental (extra), baby kit (bath, cot and high chair) Euros 3 per day, babies or toddlers can NOT be booked as a fifth person.

Resort: Wingst is a vast rural and wooded region in which 14 villages amalgamated form the holiday destination of Wingst. Wingst itself is climatic health resort in the interior 21 km from the sea, 40 km from Stade, 93 km from Hamburg, 120 km from Bremen. All shops, restaurants etc. in Stade. In the resort: shops. Indoor pool. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Hamburg (HAM) 102 km, Bremen (BRE) 132 km. Bathing in the river Elbe with sandy beach (20 km) and in the North Sea (Cuxhaven, 35 km). A variety of excursion destinations are close-by. For example, the Wingst zoo, the theatre barn in Otterndorf (20 km) or the waterskiing complex in Neuhaus (6 km). Also easy to reach are the towns of Bremerhaven (74 km), Bremen and Hamburg as well as the island of Helgoland (boat from Cuxhaven), ahich are all worth a visit.

Resort in Summer: Germany's only lake below sea level (-60 cm) with ideal angling is only 4 km away from the "Knaus Campingpark Wingst".
