About the Home
This one bedroom ski-in/ski-out condo is located on Blackcomb Mountain in The Aspens Lodge which features of a shared year round heated pool, hot tub, exercise room and is on the free Village shuttle route.

Common Areas
The condo features large windows throughout, an open concept main living area with cozy gas fireplace with a new flat screen TV mounted overtop (not pictured), and access to a private deck. The open concept fully equipped kitchen with new granite countertops (not pictured) overlooks the dining area that seats 5 comfortably - perfect for a home-made meal at the end of the day.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The spacious master bedroom features a split king bed and new flat screen TV (not pictured). The couch in the main living area is also a sofa bed for extra guests. The separate shared bathroom features heated floors, a bathtub with overhead shower and single vanity.

Added Conveniences
The Aspens Lodge features complimentary wireless internet, shared laundry facilities, underground parking (for an additional fee) and bike and ski storage.

Clean , renovated , modest apartment with nice features , not much storage , but- The "king " bed in the bedroom very uncomfortable and consisted of two twin beds of different hight , hard matresses . The owners should really invest in new mattresses , would make a big difference in choosing this unit again and the stay comfortable.

Early morning deliveries and no air conditioning

The unit got very hot and it was difficult to cool it down. We had to keep all the windows open and fans going.Every morning around 6:00 am, at least one delivery truck arrived at the front door of the complex and this was very noisy. Our unit was on the front side of the complex.

Whistler certainly experiences some very warm weather in the summer months, and unfortunately this is not equipped with air conditioning, which is the norm in Whistler homes. We do encourage our guests to call to request fans, as you did or any other item they may find lacking in their vacation homes; we will do our best to accommodate these requests.
Unfortunately this unit is at the entrance of the building and there can be quite a bit of traffic, however we have plenty of other options to offer our guests and encourage everyone to call us to talk about options.

We stayed in this property for 3 weeks. The location was fantastic BUT I will not stay in the property again. Our unit overlooked the entrance drive and every morning at 5.30am a delivery truck came and very noisly for about 15 minutes unloaded the contents of the truck. So for 3 weeks my day started at 5.30am - not a relaxing holiday.

I liked the Aspens, good location, quick walk to Upper and Lower Village. Only complaint about the condo was the pushed together twin beds - it's still a twin bed! I also asked if I had a washer/dryer in he unit and I was told I did, complete with detergent. Not really, they have 2 laundry rooms in the complex, with detergent and dryer sheets available from vending machines. The pay for parking was a surprise also, you would think you would get one space with a unit.

Plus side: great location, well maintained, clean. Extraordinary service from the Platinum Properties Concierge.Minus side: the AspenĀ“s building is not well maintained and clean as the specific unit. It feels old. The apartment lacks kitchen aids and dishes, dinner ware. Overall, very good price/quality relation.

Great location for ski-out and in. Close to Upper Village. Spa is a very popular spot after skiing. One negative was a delay getting skis out of storage after leaving them with the ski concierge - one morning, it took over 20 minutes due to a large group of people all trying to get out at the same time.

The Aspens is located right at the ski hill on Whistler, but #237 is located facing the driveway. It was very noisy with late night revellers, early morning departures, laundry delivery, garbage collection, snow plowing. I would not recommend this particular condo or any condo that faces the driveway; opt for one facing the hill or the interior courtyard.

The location could not be better!!! Ski in/out is prefect. Room size was great with all the mod cons, howver the dishwasher was broken and the light in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling. Add to this when i booked it said 1 parking spot per customer. What they failed to mention was that the parking spot cost and extra $12 per night... a little missleading. Overall the location makes up for any down side and i am guessing they are banking on that. However paying top dollar you would think that they would provide clean towels at least once over four days, and also be able to take out the garbage at the end of your stay, as the elevators are laborously slow and painful. Okay-ish.

We entered our lodging to a foul smell of wet carpets and a drying unit in the tiny hallway. As well, despite filling out a pre-arrival form, none of our requests were fulfilled. Not a good start to a holiday!

the only thing that was disappointing was the room was hot, the temp gauge was on 25 and couldnt be turned down. we reported it but they only turned on the pedastool fans. when its 30 outside you dont wont to come home to 25 degrees inside. a bit uncomfortble to sleep.other than that, a very nice unit and good location

Complicated and unsatisfactory admin

Even though there is a reception at The Aspens we had to check in at the Chamois. Luckily enough we arrived by car and could continue to Aspens after check in. As the room smelled from a gas leackage we did not unpack our luggage. The Aspens reception was very helpful and called The Chamois twice. (I was told by the Aspens staff that Chamois did not like that I did not call myself)After may be one hour a repair man arrived. Due to a defective device the main feed was closed. We were offered a room at the Chamois that only had a microwave owen and not a kitchen. There were identical unoccupied accomodations available at the Aspens but the Chamois management refused to cancel our accomodation offer us that. We were offered one days rebate if we remained in 237 over night. The day after a repair man thought he found what was wrong. The faulty part would take 3 days to deliver. The management offered us 20% rebate in all (incl the one day rebate) if we stayed. The gas heating is the only heating in the main room. The spare part was installed two days later, but the gas heating was still out of order when we checked out mon 8th Feb. The one day rebate was refunded quickly, but the rest is still outstanding today wed 10th feb. This second deal was unknown at the reception when we checked out. They should advice us by e-mail but we are still waiting. Our bustransfer was booked from The Aspens by the agent but when I called the Chamois the day before the check out they advised us to transport our luggage to Chamois with the shuttle bus and I assume back again to Aspens to catch the bus to Vancouver airport. However, the reception at the Aspens is very helpful (as most Canadians are) and we were offered to use our their storage room during the two hours gap between check out and bus transfer. I am quite sure that 237 would have been available for another two hours but we were adviced to check out 10 at the latest. Generally 237 was sparesly equiped (compared to our friends A
