Your first step into this vacation home lets you know you are in for a great time at the beach. Decorated with care by the owner, this home offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean in a very comfortable setting. With no other buildings between you and the Pacific, the large deck is a perfect place to enjoy the glorious sunsets and listen to the crashing waves. Or stay inside and enjoy storm watching at its best from the comfort of a cozy chair. The oversized picture windows provide a wonderful view of the beach, rain, shine, calm, or stormy. The well equipped kitchen overlooks the living and dining areas and is perfectly suited for multiple chefs. Following a long walk on the beach, warm up with a soak in the large jetted tub. This unit is a wonderful vacation spot for families or couples.

In addition to all the comforts of home in your beach vacation condo, your stay with us includes total access to all the amenities our property has to offer. This includes a large hot tub, heated seasonal swimming pool, barbeque grills, and well equipped exercise center at the clubhouse. There is also a large grassy play-field perfect for the kids, a basketball court, putting green, horseshoe pits, and playground for the little ones. Sports equipment is available for checkout at our Front Desk. Soak up the sunshine and relax on one of the many park benches and watch the activities. No worries, its time to have fun at the beach!

Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 What better way to watch a winter storm than to sit in front of the big picture window with a glass of red wine and chocolate watching the waves swell to a crescendo and pound the sand. This was the perfect place for a sisters get away retreat. An easily accessible trail across the grassy dune leads to the beach to collect the many treasures that await a new home. It is a short walk to town or to the grocery for forgotten food basics. For those who love coffee, the best kept secret in Westport is Tinderbox Coffee Roasters. And for wine lovers the winery is just a short drive away. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen adequately equipped and the dining area table worked well as an art center with plenty of room to spread out our many art projects. The beach at Westport has changed since I was younger. Narrower, a bit rocky now and drops off instead of flat. For a larger beach just drive south towards Grayland and access there if you want miles of wide beach for dog play. Vacations by the Sea is by far the nicest place to stay in Westport. The entire staff were also very helpful when we had questions or concerns. Our only 'Whoa' was the time the hot tub was out of use.Most people I know depend on that for relaxing. The property maintenance company tries to keep the outside amenities such as the pool and hottub in top condition but the hottub pump failed so the jets were out of commission for a few days while the replacement part was on order. Overall OK, but beach access was none existent A guest from Beverton, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2010 Don't belive the statment 'Easy beach access', it is only true if you can climb up and down a 6 to 10 foot cliff, which my wife is not able to do. we had to walk about 1/4 mile down thought the sea grass coverd dunes to get to a point we could acctually get on the beach. so night walks on the beach were out! Other than that the room was clean and well stocked, we saw a great play from the driftwood players. During the Winter Season, the high surf makes our nearest beach access point steeper than normal. We do always recommend that those who may have trouble enjoy the sunsets and beach views from the concrete beach path that extends from our property to the Jetty. During the summer, this is not a problem (the slope down the dunes becomes more gradual). However, the beach is the domain of mother nature and is constantly changing.
