A fantastic ground floor home, you will find the Pacific Ocean just steps away from your patio door. Many families prize the convenience of staying on the ground floor considering the amount of gear they often carry for the little ones. Enjoy the tranquility of the patio for unobstructed views of the dune grass glowing in the setting sun. The large picture windows let you follow the antics of your children on the lush grass just outside. The beach trail is just a few steps from the backdoor and leads you through the dune grass to overlook the majestic Pacific. Following a dip in the ocean, warm up with a soak in the large jetted tub. The kitchen overlooks the living room letting you enjoy the company of friends and family. Even in mid-winter you can bundle up and dash out for a quick taste of the wind and waves without freezing. This unit is a wonderful vacation spot for families.

In addition to all the comforts of home in your beach vacation condo, your stay with us includes total access to all the amenities our property has to offer. This includes a large hot tub, heated seasonal swimming pool, barbeque grills, and well equipped exercise center at the clubhouse. There is also a large grassy play-field perfect for the kids, a basketball court, putting green, horseshoe pits, and playground for the little ones. Sports equipment is available for checkout at our Front Desk. Soak up the sunshine and relax on one of the many park benches and watch the activities. No worries, its time to have fun at the beach!

Spacious, well equipped pet friendly unit A guest from Enumclaw, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2011 Great condos, fun location and we hope to return. This particular unit was advertised as ocean view, but you really had to work to "see" the view because it was ground level. We really appreciated the "pet friendly" status even though the carpet showed that it was pet friendly. Would bring my own bath mat next time and if the sleeper sofa was needed, would bring own bedding. Jackie in the office was very helpful and worked with us when our plans changed last minute. We enjoyed our time and wish our stay could have lasted longer. Our trip to Westport Chris N. from Farmington, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in August, 2010 The unit was nice; the only issue we had was with the worms, or centipedes, or whatever those things are! They were all over the unit. We kept having to kill them as they crawled across the carpets and surprise us at most turns. Perhaps that is because this was a ground floor unit. That's our only issue! The little centipedes vary from year to year but its just one of those tradeoffs we have to make for having great units so incredibly close to the ocean and dune grass. The Home Owners Association has the buildings professionally treated every month and frequently twice a month this time of year but there are still some of the critters around the building and theydo make it inside to get out of the heat. They are not harmful in any way to pets or human, just pests. Luckily they don't live long and most guests are willing to put up with a few unwelcome guests as a tradeoff for the close proximity this condo offers to the beach and trails. The kids had a wonderful time on the beach building forts out of driftwood and searching for sanddollars and shells.. The beach was beautiful and quiet. There is a pool, playground for the kids and BBQ grills to rent - perfect for kids. Our only complaint is the price is a little steep (rivals the cost of a hotel at Disneyland) AND in addition they charge a $75 cleaning fee. That on top of no daily maid service which means no fresh towels, etc. Other than that, an exceptional place to stay. We loved the spacious, tastefully decorated unit that allowed us to bring our Bishon with us. The ground floor was convenient and we loved facing the ocean. The bunkbeds were nice for the kids. The only negatives were many centipedes we would find that had come in from outside and the lack of activity downtown at the marina, shops and restaurants due to the impact the economy has had on the area. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2010 Desk clerk was completely unknowledgeable about any activities or facilities in the area or within the complex. The area is struggling from the economy so you will have a very "private' stay... but there are few restaurants and the ones that are open (Grill at Half Moon Bay was recommended) seemed to be uninterested in serving people... .After 3 attempts at ordering we left and got food from a local grocery. (: There is no "spa" as listed on the website... they had no clue as to what I was talking about.... and you will not hear any information from the desk clerk as she "isn't sure about the area" but the place is great otherwise. If you are going for relaxation and are ok with cooking your own meals (in a great kitchen) then this is your place. The beach is amazing (but no easy access for anyone who is not limber).... and is virtually uninhabited. We found a glass ball from Japan when there. It was a wonderful experience but just know what you are getting into. This isn't a resort where you will have staff available to help you. The room was really clean and well stocked. We will go again but and strongly recommend it but just understand the lack of facilities nearby and lack of staff support...
