Second Floor Location A guest from Squamish, B.C. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2013 The condo was wonderful! The only thing we found troublesome was that it was on the second floor. For whatever reasons, dispite us requesting that they be mindful, you could hear the tenants above walking around. this was so disturbing that it really ruined the vacation experience for us. We have stayed in other units and this was never an issue.The floors above creak and squeak and their footsteps stomped around till past midnight and as early as 5 am. We had very poor sleep as it was right above our bedroom. I had earplugs and I could still hear it! I would never rent with someone above again. I would choose elsewhere in the complex. The condo was well stocked with many things to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. The unit was well cleaned for us however the light carpet and upholstery are in need of replacement as they are quite soiled in places. The living room sofa has also lost its support and the floor to floor sound transmission was a bit disruptive at times. Overall there were many positives and we would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. The Property Management Company was super accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The photos didn't quite prepare us for the age of the property, it's a bit tired and in need of a Reno. While it was fairly clean, the showers need a major clean and the mattress covers need replacing. I ran a vrbo and therefore am picky! That said the amenities were good, nice free parking, beaches a15-20 minute walk and many great restaurants close by.
