The fabulous Keawakapu Beach is just a short 10 minute stroll from the Palms at Wailea. This beach is world famous for its great snorkeling and long white sandy shoreline. The Palms at Wailea is a gorgeous property; lush with tropical landscaping. There is a large pool and hot tub that is perfect for sunbathing and has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool area. We are pleased that our properties at the Palms at Wailea have been chosen to be featured in the number 1 selling book "Maui Revealed" and their website. These properties were chosen because of their superior quality and great rates!

Good value. A little dated furniture. Pool are is not that amazing. But overall good value for money. We rented two units and had the kids stay in one of them. They loved it. Walking distance to beach but like everywhere on Maui you do need a car.

Whale watching from the lanai and children playing on the green and minimum landscape noise made it even better.We are great Netflix watchers and would love it if holiday rentals had it set up and ready especially for longer term rentals. Movies are a bit small on our ipads. Just a little addition to make it even more perfect.

Wonderful condo. We tried to book for next year, but it was already booked! Very disappointed. The view from the lanai was spectacular, we watched the whales daily. We were impressed with Rentals Maui and will us them again.

Wonderful Stay at the Palms Wailea

We had a very enjoyable time at the Palms. the location was great and very accessible to all other parts of the island and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Incredible beaches within a 5 minute car ride and parking at all beaches is very plentiful. Unit 1501 is very quiet with spectacular ocean views including a view of West Maui. The grounds are meticulously manicured. Our unit overall was clean but could definitely stand to have the carpets replaced in the master bed/bath and living room. Tile would be a nice replacement in the bath. The large sliding doors throughout the unit make it a light filled unit but the screens are in horrible condition and slide poorly as do all closet doors in the unit---relatively cheap fixes. The unit is very spacious and well designed. The king bed in the master was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedroom was perfect and actually kept the rest of the unit a comfortable temperature. Overall, a very nice unit and we would definitely stay here again.

Our overall experience was good. The property was quite comfortable. We loved the beautiful landscaping BUT the view of the ocean could be enhanced with a bit of selective trimming of the shrubs surrounding the patio area. The property managers were very quick to respond to questions before we arrived. We were somewhat surprised, however, after we arrived that we never saw or heard from "anyone." We let ourselves in and let ourselves out. It worked fine but made us wonder! We would definitely call Rentals Maui when we are planning a return trip.

The photos do it no justice! Walking in to find exquisite terazzo floors and a view to beat no other; what a treat! The kitchen is great for cooking in--something our family loves to do--and having a gas barbeque right on the private lanai made dinner time very relaxing. Though there is A/C in the master suite, it is not needed as the unit is very comfortable without it. The trade winds do a fantastic job of keeping it cool. Both bathrooms are spacious and very clean, and the in-unit laundry made unpacking a breeze--we made sure to have most things washed and ready to be moved from the suitcase to the closets back home. We had our two kids with us, and even though they took up the living room as their sleeping space, there was still plenty of seating without having to pack up the sleeper sofa each morning. The grounds are gorgeous, with huge expanses of tropical lawn and a beautiful, winding fresh-water stream, complete with tropical plantings, little fish and even a few croaking frogs to add to the magic of a Maui evening. The very best part of our stay was how peaceful and relaxing the whole experience was. From a quiet, early breakfast on the lanai with little geckos and bright-coloured birds, to eating dinner out there watching the children from the complex playing tag as the sun went down: it was perfect!! We highly recommend this unit specifically, but you could rent any other of the units on property and be quite happy. Aloha! Maui no ka oi!!

Management company was a week late on following up with issues called in on second day. Action taken with two days left in vacation. Overall the property and unit were very good. Comments left on site for certain upgrades. Would stay in this unit again in a heartbeat.

-Sliding closet doors need repair-Tub & Sink drains need repair (did not close or open fully)-Light @ doorway outside doesn't work, hard to see keypad at night-Rentals Maui did not provide a keyless entry code upon check in, had to call emergency line at midnight, and we did not have any access to a cell phone. Good thing the security guard was around. It's important you give your guests the correct information before they arrive as some check in very late.-some cockroaches found in condo-overall, very nice stay, and will book again

1501 Below Standards for Cleanliness

Grounds and pool are well maintained however with the unit cleanliness and maintenance is below standard.1. Cooking utensils were very minimal and substandard and lacked storage containers, and basic kitchen supplies. The items provided are worse than I use for camping!2. Cleanliness - certainly surface clean upon first look. However in the closets, it seemed the corners or along the walls hadn't been vacuumed for months, or possibly years! The screens on the bedroom and bathroom windows were so coated with dust I was careful not to touch the blinds. 3. Closet Door and Screen Door tracks - The tracks on all the closet doors were deplorable and were difficult to open and close as they stuck on a kind of "guck" on the track. The screen doors in the living room were again in very poor tracking shape. At one point, a screen came completely off the track it was so gummed up. So we just didn't use that door, which was a nuisance.4. Bedding/Towels - All the bedding seemed old, with pills on the bottom sheet. The master bathroom had a very poor selection of face cloths and hand towels. There were about 4-5 face cloths in total and 2-3 hand towels, both of which looked very old and gray.5. Paper supplies - there was very limited toilet paper and no Kleenex.There were new appliances which were nice; however the rest of the unit certainly could use updating, particularly if the current rates are used.We enjoyed our stay and the beauty of the grounds certainly made up for any deficiencies in the unit. However when the posted rate paid is comparable to other remodeled units (and I would hope cleaner), then this unit does not meet the standards I would expect.Based on our experience, I likely will not return nor will I recommend The Palms to anyone, unless there are major changes made. This is too bad because I believe the place has tremendous potential! Thank you and I appreciate the opportunity to express my views. Betty

Until was in a beautiful location and the property is secure and quiet. Only issues - table lamp was broken and a potential shock/fire hazard. Was not told the daily rate would change on Dec 15. Was expecting $179/night for the entire stay.

We loved the condo and especially the view from the patio. We spent a lot of time on the patio and used the BBQ three nights. All the appliances worked well so that was great. Hopefully our next visit ,no tsunami or earthquake. Although we are so relieved for Hawaii that the tsunami was so mild. Aloha.

The condo unit and location are very nice. We would stay agin but the unit should have been cleaner. I do not like to see ants crawling on the kitchen counter tops and the fridge ice machine should be cleaner . The washer and dryer are really loud . The unit needs some attention or it will get run down which would be to bad as it is nice.

The location and view were superb and the unit was very well maintained. An excellent choice for those who prefer a quiet location. A very family friendly development. The rental management agency was attentive to any requests we made.Areas of note that need some attention: 1) the wireless internet access within unit 1501 was virtually non-existent and represents a frustration for those who need to remain plugged-in. A top priority for an upgrade. 2) The folding windows in the kitchen need to be fixed as they do not stay closed in any sort of wind.Despite those two items, we would not hesitate to return to or recommend this unit.
