The fabulous Keawakapu Beach is just a short 10 minute stroll from the Palms at Wailea. This beach is world famous for its great snorkeling and long walking beach. There is a large pool and hot tub that is perfect for sunbathing and has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool area. These properties were chosen because of their superior quality and great rates!
Unit #202 is a spectacular one bedroom two bath unit with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, AC in the master bedroom and ceiling fans throughout. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room to sleep up to 4 people. There is also an inflatable bed if guests prefer seperate beds. In addition this property features a 42 in plasma TV/ DVD player, complimentary long distance calling to US and Canada as well as high speed internet service.

Nice Unit but Hot A guest from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in April, 2013 Overall, we liked the Palms very much. The location was great, the pool was nice and not crowded at all, the unit was very spacious and attractively decorated. What we didn't like was that our unit (except for the bedroom that had air conditioning) got very hot and we could never cool it down. The overhead fan in the main living area did not work and one of the portable fans in the unit also didn't work. The drain in the master bath also was not draining well so you ended up standing in about 3 inches of water when you showered. Our hot water went out during our stay but we called on that and it was fixed right away. Mainly, didn't like how hot the unit was. Wailea Palms 202 Roger N. from Carmel, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 Condition of property was average at best. Patio screen was jammed and couldn't move. Pans weren't nonstick so fried eggs and grilled sandwiches were difficult. No a/c in living room. Master bedroom bed was uncomfortably soft. Probably an old mattress. Great Condo and Lanai in Wailea A guest from Gresham, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in March, 2012 This is the second condo we stayed in at the Palms of Wailea and was so far superior to Unit 603-our first condo. It was quiet and very nicely decorated. It has many more cable channels on the TV, a fully equiped kitchen,the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, a large lanai with great furniture where you can drink coffee and read the paper in the morning. You will need to use a cord for internet and only the bedroom has AC so the living area can get quite warm. I think the pool is a little small for the number of units at the Palms, especially during Spring Break. Great condo in a great location A guest from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2012 We recently stayed four nights at this condo in the Palms at Wailea. The location was great for us, removed from the central town of Kihei and in the more spread out Wailea. The condo is well-appointed, modern decor and a fantastic lanai. It's a quiet complex, but a short 10 minute drive to the main drag in Kihei for shopping and food. The beautiful beaches and snorkeling throughout Wailea are within minutes by car, or an easy 10 minute walk to beach access to the Wailea walking path. The unit can get a little warm during the day without central AC, but we opened up the windows at night and it was perfect. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who prefers being away from the center of action. The unit was stocked well beyond our expectation, for linens, towels, dishes, cooking implements etc. Never once did we look for something and come up empty handed. Everything looked and felt like new.The unit felt like a home, for two people, with lots of space to spread out and move around. The bed and pillows were comfortable, as were the living room and outdoor furniture.The Palms of Wailea complex appeared well maintained and well managed.We knew we were not booking a unit on the beach with full ocean view; in that context we were more than pleased with our views of both sunrise and sunset. We went to the beach every day, walking when we felt like it (5 minutes) and driving when we had lots of stuff to carry (2 minutes). We always found a parking spot. The nearest beach is beyond beautiful, and the best snorkelling we found in the south part of the island was also within walking distance.Recommended.
