Great location within the Waikoloa resort, but still private enough to have plenty of relaxation time. Highly recommended. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 My wife and I enjoyed our vacation on the Big Island and were impressed with the condo at Hali'i Kai #5C. The condo was clean, modern and nestled in a beautifully landscaped neighbourhood close to the golf courses and the ocean. The pool area was a great place to relax and meet other vacationers.The Kona cost vacation team was very helpful during the reservation process, they were very kind, courteous and patient when responding to all my questions...they also gave me good support when I had Internet technical issues once onsite. Also although I did not take advantage of the personal concierge services, I appreciated the fact that this type of service was at my disposal. Areas for improvement:Once we arrived at the site, I was not impressed with the reception at the Hali'i Kai office, as a first time guest I felt rushed and received no information on the site itself...on our last day when I checked out and asked for information on other properties, I was given a sheet of paper with some info but the receptionist did not feel motivated to converse or share any additional facts on the properties.The dishwasher had a foul smell even after the dishes were washed. Relaxing Vacation Condo with all the Amentities Grady O. from Red Deer, XX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2013 This property was well cared for, very clean and roomy. All amenities were there and it was a great location looking out on to Hole #9 of the golf course with a slight view of the ocean. It was just a few minutes walk to the Ocean club to enjoy relaxing loungers, pool, hot tub and wonderful views of the ocean & the whales. Highly recommend this condo for 4 people though 2nd bedroom has two single beds that possibly could be moved together for a couple. Great Stay A guest from Nanoose Bay, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 We had a great time in Kona over Christmas. We had our 2 boys, 2.5 & 4.5 and the condo was perfect. Nice grassy area to play on and spacious rooms, very clean condo with everything you could possibly need. The pool is nice and heated so the boys could stay in it for hours, which they did. We would highly reccomend staying in this unit for your vacation!!
