Viggiu' 6 km from Porto Ceresio: Nice, historical villa "Renate", from the 19th century, surrounded by trees. 1 km from the centre of Viggiu', 25 km from the centre of Lugano, in a quiet, sunny position, 8 km from the lake, in a cul-de-sac. Private: park 6'000 m2 (fenced), garden with lawn and trees. Terrace (200 m2), garden furniture. In the house: central heating. Stepped path (7 steps) to the house. Parking in the grounds. Supermarket 500 m, restaurant 300 m, railway station "Porto Ceresio" 6 km, indoor swimming pool 1 km. Golf course (18 hole) 15 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Como 20 km, Maggiore 25 km, Lugano 8 km. Please note: car essential. There is a small apartment in the villa which is occasionally used by the owner. The villa is ony 15 km away from the Varese Golf Club (18 holes) and 20 km from Lake Como. The heating, during the winter months costs approx 600 Euro per week.

Resort: The little town of Viggiu' is situated only 7 km from Lak Lugano and from the border with Switzerland, 25 km from Luino and the west shore of Lake Maggiore. It is situated on a hill, approx 482 m above sea level. Its position is good for relaxing holiday plus all the entertiments available in the nearby resorts by the 2 lakes. The historical centre of the town has very unusual courtyards, which originally have been workshops for carving stones. The house doors and arches still show the coat of arms belonging to the old owners. Worth sightseeing: several churches and the famous Villa Borromeo. Varese 15 km. Lugano 30 km. Como 20 km. Milan 60 km. 2 good golf courses: one in Varese and one in Como. Small village. For arrivals by plane: airport Milano Malpensa (MXP) 51 km.
