This very private cottage entreats you to relax and enjoy time together outside, whether 8on the back deck or fenced back yard. Mature trees and lush gardens create a serene space all your own. Sleeping eight guests in two bedrooms (with sleeper futons as well), the cottage has received consistent five out of five stars with past guests for its lovely ambiance and open, airy feel. The sunroom is a particular hit.
Enjoy new furniture throughout. In the living room, delight in large, sunny windows and open access to adjacent rooms. A fireplace with grate is available to warm up cooler winter evenings, as is electric heating. The living room has a new LCD TV - and two ?sweet spots? for extended movie marathons. The corner of the L-shaped sectional sofa and the rocking chair will both get claimed quickly. Maintaining a beach aesthetic, treasure chest coffee and side tables complement lighthouse accent beaches.
The dining room?s glass-topped table makes best use of the space and bamboo furniture perfectly suits your warm weather life. Throughout, seashells and sea-life accessories remind of your enviable location. A bright, white kitchen is clean and modern. The large double sink very convenient for a group of eight. Shiny, new appliances available to you include a full stove top and oven, microwave and coffee maker.
In the comfortable master bedroom, enjoy a king sized bed and the added convenience of a small desk (perfect for checking email on the included high-speed wireless Internet!). Adjust the vertical blinds on the double aspect windows to control when you wake up each morning - will you rise with the sun and hit the beach with your pet, or sleep in late and wake only when a loved one brings you fresh coffee?
A white, blue and cream second guest bedroom shows off dolphins on the bedspread. If you?re lucky, you?ll see the real thing playing in the waves nearby. Windows span the full width of the room behind the bed. It?s very bright and airy.

Stayed for 31 days in January, 2012 Arrived to find smoke detector on counter with no batteries, Lawn furniture filty,gross spots on living room and bedroom carpet. Called Kevin,he sceduled cleaner between 1&3,came at 4:30.Rataan furniture shown on web site on porch gone. No tables to put down a drink and only a broken table lamp on floor.Can,t read a book at night on porch. Sink in bathroom plugged up. Mold on tile in shower.Gas grill promised to a former renter due to their feedback still not there.3 can openers there,but none worked.This unit will not sleep 8 unless you put 4 on porch with no light. A great holiday but.... A guest from Buxton, Derby Shire does not recommend this property. Stayed for 35 days in February, 2011 We did have some concerns about this property but the things that could be fixed immediately were done so promptly and kindly with efficiency. Our main concern was that this property really could not sleep eight. There were eight sleeping places but nothing else much for them. There were two of us and we were comfortable, the cottage is well equipped but four people at the very most would be the limit. Having brought this to the attention of the owner we have every confidence that he will have dealt with our long term concerns in the same way that he fixed the things that could be done immediately. The location is wonderful.
