Managed by Gore Creek Properties, this beautiful condo has a bright open floorplan and a deck overlooking the creek. Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has been furnished with rest and relaxation in mind. The kitchen/ living room has an open floor plan with a wood burning fireplace. Master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, the 2nd bedroom also has a queen bed, and there is a double sofa sleeper in the living room. The condo has a washer/ dryer. The free Town of Vail bus stop is just steps away. With world renowned skiing, diverse shops and restaurants, luxurious accommodations, friendly neighborhoods and breath-taking mountain views, Vail is one of the finest resort destination in the world. Vacationing in this home was average at best. The unit is highly dated and rundown. Much of the furniture and carpeting is broken and worn. The unit never seemed clean. Filthy windows, spider webs everywhere, unclean upon arrival. Also, my car was backed into by a resident who did not leave a note.

My wife and I , my daughter and son in law and their two toddlers spent three nights in the condo the second week of July.When we arrived we were quite pleased with the condition , d├ęcor and price . It was quite warm in the condo , but after opening it all up and running a window fan , it cooled off nicely. The rear deck is very pleasant , with Gore Creek racing away to the west, the sound of the creek masks the I70 sounds pretty well. As mentioned by other reviewers the entry is a bit unusual ; as you enter the front door you are in a bedroom, but with planning and knowing the other guests patterns it works out OK. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the rustic appearance , decor ,and other amenities. Thanks to the owner ! The only problems we had were that only one burner of the oven worked . You can hear people upstairs , but as long as they don't stay up late , that's OK. All in all a great stay !

The unit had mice, I saw them run across the kitchen floor not more than 2 to 3 hours after we checked in. I had to set traps caught one but I know there were more the fold out couch had mouse droppings all over it.

We enjoyed our stay at this West Vail area condo and found it was good value for the proximity to the Airport, grocery stores, restaurants and the skiing. We flew in from Toronto directly into Eagle Airport (highly recommended for travelers versus flying into Denver which is a 2 hr drive over two mountain passes and subject to road closures in bad weather) Eagle was an easy 20-30 minute drive to the condo. Interlochen is roughly 2 miles from Vail Mountain, which made for a quick trip in and out each day. Parking at the ski resort is $25/day but there is a free shuttle bus at the end of the complex. We felt we were already saving by having a full kitchen which we could stock up on groceries, so parking was a non-issue, convenient and time saving. The unit itself was very clean and spacious, although oddly configured - you enter through the master bedroom. The main living area was spacious, open concept and comfortably furnished. It had a big kitchen with granite counters and ample cooking/dining tools. Patio doors off the dining room opened onto a covered deck with BBQ. B-9 is the bottom condo of a 2-3 level building, a plus as you have a covered deck as well this building backs onto a creek, which we preferred to the units fronting the highway. The Wifi worked well and TV had good cable. A corner fireplace was a bonus but went unused. Negatives: the unit was overly warm all the time (we did contact the property manager who sent someone over but it did nothing to resolve the issue). We kept the patio doors cracked open. The wood ceiling was very thin and we could hear the activities and conversations in the unit above us. Overall it was good value for the money, comfortable, private and convenient. The owners should consider sound-proofing the ceiling.

We really enjoyed our stay up to a point. The condo is located in West Vail which makes it very nice because it is between Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts. As far as we could tell a car is needed to make the short drive over to Beaver Creek. The Vail village bus line has a frequent pick up spot on the corner of the condo complex which gives easy access to everything in the Vail Villages. The condo itself was furnished very comfortably. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals before or after hitting the slopes. On the back deck, a grill is furnished so you can cook your steaks/hamburgers while listening to the bubbling creek. Very relaxing!! On the downside...the front door locking mechanism was very difficult to open. The sidewalk getting to the condo could have been de-iced, because it was pretty slippery. (I believe those are easy to fix) However...(I really don't like to do this because I liked the place)But...the first three 1/2 days were very quiet and relaxing, until an "elephant" family with kids moved in above us and made it Very Miserable!! I would suggest to the management company to either not rent to people with children in the above unit and/or walk and talk as softly as possible and be considerate of the people below them. The screaming and running kids became so ridiculous we were ready to leave by day 5!!!

The condo has an odd lay-out. You walk into one of the guest bedrooms. The condo is spacious and has a great view of Gore Creek. It is located on the first floor, so you do hear quite a bit of clomping from guests in other condos.

We loved our condo at Interlochen. There were four of us, two couples, and we had more than enough space to relax and enjoy. The buses ran frequently to take us into the village to ski everyday. There was also a nearby grocery store for all our needs. Overall it was a beautifully decorated and COZY condo:)

the property had numerous issues that made it uncomfortable for rental:it was clutteredappliances, bathrooms were incredibly dated and in poor working conditioncabinets, closets, etc. were packed with owner 'stuff' - no room even for our own groceries2 fans provided (no A/C) but one was brokencob webs in every light fixture25% of all light bulbs did not workdishes, utensils, etc. were filthy, mismatched, chipped, etc.Property mgmt company good, but property itself needs a significant update and de-cluttering to be appropriate for rental

Generally, pretty good. Front entrance takes you through the master bedroom (odd). Cooked in a lot, but toaster and stove top burners malfunctioned. Entertainment center needed attention.

Everything was positive with one exception. WIFI was not working during our stay. Exchanged emails with Tere, seems that it was fixed after we left. Asked Tere for a discount - didn't hear from here again...

Clean and quiet, nice view of the creek from the living area. Easy access to the bus stop. The TV link was disabled - for the price of the rental this is really cheap, but we were not there to watch TV.
