Virginia Beach Getaway Information
Virginia Beach, located on the Cheseapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean, is best known for its endless beaches and wide variety of vacationing activities. In fact, The Guinness Book of Records lists Virginia Beach as having the longest pleasure beach in the world. Beside the water is a 3-mile boardwalk on Atlantic Avenue, complete with a trolley to take you from one end to the other. The boardwalk contains activities and entertainment for all ages, and during the summer months it is lined with street performers each night. There are lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, miniature golf courses, and go-kart tracks, as well as three entertainment stages which supply nightly entertainment during the warmer months.
