Florence Getaway Information
Located on the central Oregon coast, Florence, Oregon vacation home rentals will give you prime access to this great seaside destination. Florence is known state-wide as a "playground" area, where huge forests meet the dramatic coastline. You'll never be bored during a visit to Florence: lighthouse buffs will love the Heceta Head Lighthouse, built in 1894. Also nearby is the Honeyman Memorial State Park, which boasts hiking trails, all-terrain vehicle access and swimming opportunities.
Exploring the mountains and the coastline isn't all that Florence, Oregon has to offer. It is also home to the Three Rivers Casino, which has all the great Vegas-style action you could hope for. The community of Florence is the home of several yearly festival as well, from the Rhododendron Festival in May to the Oregon State Sandboarding Championships in June. All of this plus frequent art, food, and wine festivals make the Florence area a fun time for all.
