VERY UNSAFE AND QUITE EXPENSIVE A guest from Salinas, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 There are many safety issue with this cabin. The full kitchen is not full. No measuring cups, only 8 plates, 2 pots to cook with, etc. Broken picnic table. It was definetly not as advertised. LOOK FOR ANOTHER CABIN! Left another long review on TripAdvisor. Property Manager Response: Response from Twain Harte Vacation Rentals This guest found one thing not to their liking and then, as usual, found many, many others. We addressed her concerns by sending a repairman over IMMEDIATELY. Even after that, they were not to be pleased with anything. We, in fact, REFUNDED them one full night's rent in compensation for their "inconveniences", but apparently they didn't find that to their liking either. We have had very few complaints regarding this unit prior to their stay.M. Ski Vacation A guest from Millbrae, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 All was great! A beautiful house! The views are lovely and this house is built to last with gorgeous vaulted ceilings and lots of windows to view the snow ladden trees! Lots of sleeping room and the pool table is a nice way to spend the evening. We saw a hot tub outside but didn't use it. Not sure what that was like. This is totally a beautiful place to stay!Just be prepared for very hard beds, we are use to a softer mattress but that is just a preference. DON'T EVER GO!!! A guest from Turlock, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2010 The cabin smelled horrible, there were blood stains on the couch. Management was RIDICULOUS!! We went with a church group and made sure the cabin was left spotless when we left, one of the managers is now saying we "trashed" the cabin and is accusing me of lying all just to keep our deposit...NEVER AGAIN.
