Overall Property Description:
The Agriturismo "La Sosta di Annibale" at Lago Trasimeno in the province of Perugia at the border between Umbria and Tuscany, 13 km from Cortona, in the locations where in 217 A.C. the famous battle of the Trasimeno took place in which the roman army was heavily defeated by the carthaginian army led by Annibale Barca.
The properties are situated in the center of a farm of ca. 20 hectares changing between woods, ca. 2,5 hectares, vineyards, olives groves, vegetable garden and planted fields.
We produce whiete wine and vin santo without chemical substances.
Autumn is dedicated to the harvest of olives and thanks to the variety of the trees in our 100 year-old grove, we produce a particular fruity olive oil.
The Villa was restored in 2001 and is located among greens, wheat and sunflower fields, olive groves and forests,in a panoramic position overviewing the lake and the valley, far from prying eyes The building is divided in 5 apartments all of them beautiful and spacious, three of which are on the ground floor and the other two on the first floor. Each apartment has a nice living room with TV, sofas, kitchenette with an electric oven and a fridge, two bedrooms for two people each and a bathroom with shower cabin.
At guests disposal:
There is a big swimming pool of 7x14 metres (with roman steps, it is 1 meter in the lowest point and 1,80 metres in the deepest) in a large fenced and well-attended park, ideal for kids.
Garden furniture available and a BBQ and washing machine are available for shared use. The apartments all have country-style furniture of good quality. The parking is covered and inside the property.
It is possible to add baby cots.

1km away, in the small village Borghetto you can acces the beautiful bicycle path that winds around the Trasimeno lake. Cortona in Tuscany, only a few minutes by car away, is a well-known and popular tourist destination. Beautiful medieval city and ancient etruscan settlement, it is still enclosed in its ancient walls and has one of Italy's most beautiful views. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, museums, antique shops, and typical products. In the near Terontola and Tuoro S/T , both only 3 km away, you can find banks, post offices and train stations.
You can easily acces all of central Italy's most beautiful cities like Florence, Siena, Assisi, Orvieto, Rome, Arezzo, Perugia and Pisa. You can also choose to do wine or gastronomic tours in the close Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino.

Conditions of Letting
PAYMENTS RENTAL VOUCHER
Once the booking request is received, EASY RESERVE will send the holiday-renters a link to a web page where they can pay the 40% deposit plus the booking fee online with either a Visa or Mastercard. If the holiday-renter prefers to pay the deposit over the phone that is not a problem either. The balance is due 45 days before arrival and can also be paid online or over the phone.
Upon receiving the full balance the holiday-maker will be sent his/her rental voucher. For bookings made less than 45 days prior to the start of the rental period, the holiday-maker must immediately pay the total amount of the rental price.
ALTERATIONS - CANCELLATION CHARGES
For any alteration to the booking, or if the holiday-maker intends to transfer his/her booking to other persons, on condition that the accommodation and the period do not change, the holiday-maker has to pay the amount: of 50 Euros.
EASY RESERVE reserves the right to charge the holiday-maker any additional cost relative to the booking.
Cancellation of a booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties must be paid:
40% of the total rental price if the cancellation is made from the booking time to 46 days before the start of the rental period,
100% of the total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to the day of arrival or in the case of no show, IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL CHARGES SUCH AS THE BOOKING FEE.
