Exterior: This authentic, hand built log cabin is furnished in the classic "Old Tahoe" tradition right down to the soft leather sofa, club chair, handwoven carpets and other antiques. Filled with Lake Tahoe's charming history, there is a timeless, rustic mountain feel in every room. --Single Level: -Living room with leather furnishings (seating for 5), plus wood stove, HD LCD TV,DVD player, Satellite, wireless Internet -Dining table with seating for 4 -fully stocked kitchen with gas stove, and all other kitchen amenities -patio with seating for 8, overlooking forested open-space area, charcoal BBQ (summer use only) -Master bedroom: FULL bed, TV/DVD player plus full bathroom. Honors the early pioneers. -Bedroom 2: FULL bed, the "Boating Room" celebrates Tahoe's rich maritime history. -Bedroom 3: FULL bed plus leather sitting chair. The "Lodge Room" is a historical look at Tahoe sports such as skiing, ice skating, golf and more. This economy rated cabin is nestled in the hills above Truckee and is a cozy, romantic, welcoming retreat. Quiet, yet close to most everything, it has great winter access and is perfect for a Tahoe skiing and snowboarding vacation. The cabin has hundreds of DVD's and books,just perfect for unwinding. -Hi Speed Wireless Internet! (connection cannot be guaranteed) -Access to Tahoe Donner amenities (for nominal fee) including Rec center with work-out facility pools and hot tub, downhill ski area (perfect for teaching kids!), cross country ski area, equestrian center, tennis center, 18-hole golf and driving range, hiking, and so much more! -Mins from downtown Truckee! -Approx. 20 mins to Sugarbowl ski area, 30 mins to Squaw, 15 mins to Northstar, and 40 mins to Lake Tahoe This home comes complete with full kitchen and all linens/towels. **No smoking Please** **Well behaved dogs ok with prior approval and additional $25/night pet fee and $25 extra cleaning fee** The majority of guests must be over the age of 25. Please know that reservations cannot be canceled once initial payment is received. We do offer optional travel insurance providing cancellation and medical coverage for only 7% of the reservation total. If an unforeseen event prevents you from making your trip, you are covered!
