This gated estate on 5 acres with 6000 sq.ft. custom adobe residence has 4 master suites. Southwestern ambiance is felt throughout with viga ceilings, copper sconces, nichos, and southwestern art and decor.

Hummingbirds and dragonflies are frequent visitors in the extensive gardens. Have your morning coffee in the front courtyard garden with its rose collection, lilacs, and flowering fruit trees. A rock waterfall with waterlily pond, built-in flagstone barbecue grill, pergola, and summer swing complete the back gardens. The heated atrium has sitting areas and flowering plants year round.

The living room with its custom bronze entertainment cabinet, surround sound, kiva fireplace and wet bar offers relaxing evenings for all. Dragonfly has a fully-equipped kitchen with professional range-oven and a breakfast bar that opens to a gracious formal dining room with kiva fireplace. Children and adults alike will enjoy the large adjoining game room with indoor arcade basketball, air hockey and ping-pong table.

Enjoy four master suites, each with en-suite bath and walk-in closet.

Experience million dollar views from the private deck, or relax in the steam room after a day on the slopes (Taos Ski Valley is just 10 miles away). Or, reserve an in-home comfortable massage table is right there.

We couldn't have been more pleased..the warmth of the Dragonfly Estate welcomed us in?.with a bottle of champagne and chips and salsa. We enjoyed the incredible views and quiet peaceful surroundings. We relaxed in the hot tub out on the deck and looked up at an incredible blanket of stars. Everything is top notch and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen with professional stove, LCD TVs, surround sound, multiple fireplaces, wi-fi. Everything went above and beyond our expectations. This stunning mountain home features lovely furnishings and finishes throughout as well as breathtaking mountain views from almost every room in the house. Its open and spacious layout is perfectly suited for large groups or families... you'll be vacationing in style when you stay at the Dragon Fly property is amazing! A Great Week of Family Time in a Remote Location A guest from Menomonie, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The property was a good size for two families (8 people). The kitchen, though small, was very well appointed. It was hot while we were there but the inside of the house stayed a pleasant temperature. The views are fantastic especially from the hot tub. The location is quite remote with several miles of rutted dirt road. Fine for an SUV but challenging for a sedan or minivan. Most of the equipment in the game room was in poor condition (no felt on bottoms of air hockey set, rubber on ping pong paddles coming off, electronic basketball game was broken). PlayStation didn't work either. These things were a disappointment for the kids in the group. Dragonfly is our favorite Taos house!! A guest from Lubbock, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 We arrived late on a winter evening. It was almost dusk and winding our way through the small, dirt roads in the Valdez Valley became quite a challenge when we were not sure where we were going. The outdoor lighting at the Dragonfly house was an enchanting welcome and it promised that the inside of the house would be equal to the outside. The house is quite large with many spaces to sit and visit. The kitchen accommodated 3-4 cooks at a time and the dining room with its fireplace was a great gathering place for meals and games. It was Superbowl weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the upstairs living room and large screen TV. With four couples, having four bedrooms each with its own bathroom was quite comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to try a summer visit so that we can enjoy all the outdoor spaces!! Highly recommended. Dragonfly House A guest from Tulsa, OK does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2011 The property was unexpectedly remote, but had a hilltop view. There were a number of maintenance issues which we reported to management. The quality and condition of furnishings and decor did not meet our expectations, based on previous satisfactory rentals from Kokopelli. I feel certain the issues with the property can be resolved and the house can be made the same quality as the others we've rented. The management worked with us to resolve the issues we experienced.
