BEAUTIFUL AND SECLUDED 3 BEDROOM 2 BATH TAOS VACATION HOME WITH MAGNIFICENT VIEWS AND JUST A SHORT DRIVE TO THE TAOS PLAZA

This immaculate home has high ceilings in the large living room/dining room and ample, comfortable kitchen. The oversized lovely, private master suite includes a King size bed, a writing desk, a bay window with window seat. In the master bath, you'll find a Jacuzzi tub and seperate stall shower. While seated under the portal to the east you'll enjoy the breathtaking views of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, or if you prefer take in the serenity of the evening sunsets to the west. Benefit from the companionship of your dog as this property offers a fenced back yard for your convenience. This home is located off a gravel road 4WD is recommended.

This home requires a 2 night minimum booking, however our website cannot provide availability for 2-night stays at this time. If you wish to stay only 2 nights, please call our office

It was just perfect for the 6 of us. It has beautiful views and nice furnishings. After a long day of skiing it was nice to come home to this warm and cozy house. Six of us were very comfortable with the bedrooms on either sides of the large living room and kitchen. One surprise treat was the hike down to hot springs on the Rio Grande River. We parked at the end of the road. While we liked being in the middle of nowhere, we did get tired of the 3 mile bumpy, dusty road. Perfect for star gazing. It was a little far from the ski hill (20 miles), and about 8 miles from town. If you rent, on the first day read the suggestions on the coffee table of things to do. We only found out on the last day that there are natural hot springs very close.Highly recommend this property. It was clean and fairly close to Taos Ski Valley. The property's fixtures, furniture, flooring, and appearance are updated. The staff at Kokopelli are professional. If I had to choose a few things I would change about the property, I would update the pots and pans, not allow dogs, and pave the road. These things were not deal breakers for me. OK for a place to sleep. A guest from Los Altos, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2011 The place was nice, clean and quiet but there were basic amenities missing that I expect, like soap, shampoo and conditioner and SERIOUSLY...COFFEE FILTERS. Why provide a coffee maker and no filter? Minimal cable service. Recommend you use this as a place to sleep, not a lot else. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2009 Very nice, comfortable house with spectacular 360 degree views, and quiet location. Seems much more spacious inside than the exterior indicates. A little difficult to find in the dark, being quite a ways out of town - even when you know where it's supposed to be - exacerbated by the fact that the porch light couldn't be turned on for more than a few seconds at a time (on timer/motion detector/light sensor).A fireplace would be a nice addition to add atmosphere on a cold night, but the absence is not a big deal.Overall we had a very enjoyable stay - would recommend.
