Casa "Lucky Monkey House 1" is located just a short 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the beach in Tamarindo, made famous by the classic surf flick "Endless Summer". From the property perched on the hill above Tamarindo Bay, the ocean is visible beyond the seascape sunset. The ocean is visible beyond the trees even from the ground floor and the view from the higher floors has up to a 220 degree panoramic view of Playa Grande, the Estuary, Tamarindo bay and even all the way to Pinilla.This wonderful three-story house is set in a grassy courtyard with a small pool. It has four bedrooms on the first two levels and a master suite on the third level. There is a private, covered, secured garage that fits three cars with a remote control to a metal door.The master suite has a separate kitchen and dinning area, and private entrance, but can easily be combined to the rest of the house by opening one door. It also has a separate set of stairs for complete privacy. All of the rooms and the master suite have king size beds, plus there is a pull out in the largest room on the second floor along with the king size bed (good for parents that want to keep their children in the same room or family members who don't mind sharing). Every level of the house has a huge balcony/deck, the largest on the first level above the garage.The dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove with oven are all stainless steel. All the appliances, cooking and serving items have tastefully chosen. An arched doorway with relief ceiling leads from the living area to the hall and to the majestic stone stairway that curls around itself as it leads to the second and third levels.There are three bedrooms on the second floor. Two identical rooms with king size beds share a bathroom between them and each open on to a rounded patio overlooking the tropical forest foliage, one with an ocean view overlooking Tamarindo Bay and the pool. The forest foliage to the back and side of the house are known to be frequented by a friendly group of monkeys.On the third level is the master suite with the an amazing panoramic view of everything. The suite is very large, light filled, and spacious, with a pull out couch in living room to accommodate 4 people and includes a separate kitchen and dining area with amenities for four including microwave and stack washer and dryer.Tucked at the end of the street, this is a perfect spot to escape the world and enjoy the peace, quiet, and serenity that await you!!!

Any issues we had, we contacted the management company and they handled everything professionally and immediately, even when needed after-hours. Would recommend renting through this company to anyone wanting a great vacation in Costa Rica. Not for everyone Lisa C. from Toronto, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 We were 8 adults and the property was excellent for that number of people. A great separate apartment with an amazing view on the third floor was great and we spent everyday at the beach which is why we went to Tamarindo. Views from the house were beautiful. Place was clean and spacious - we had a few issues with water, but RPM fixed any issue quickly. Drawbacks are that we were robbed, I think in part, due to more remote location and easy to jimmy open sliding doors. The pool is very small and for us was 'dominated' by our neighbours who had small children - we spent no time there. It was not a bad house for us and most of us were not too unsettled by the robbery, but not a good place for a nervous or inexperienced traveller.
