Stayed for 8 days in March, 2011 I visited Tamarindo with my girlfriend, my two daughters, ages 29 & 30, and their two boyfriends. Party of 6. Courtyard #6 was a great place for us to stay. We had been told there was internet in the house. We found out upon our arrival there was no internet. However, the management had an internet connection installed. We found Edgar and Julie of the management staff to be most helpful. We enjoyed the convenience of just a short walk to the beach. The only real complaint would have to be that the kitchen knives, while good quality knives, they were very dull. There was a hone in the kitchen, but these knives are way past what a hone can correct. Same for the vegetable peeler. The steak knives were the only sharp knives in the house. The kitchen did not have any mixing bowls, at least that we could find. The house does have a very nice pool, but since our vacation included,ATV riding, horesback riding, jet ski riding, kyaking, surfing, zip lining and deep sea fishing we didn't have much time to enjoy it. We did enjoy the balconies off two of the bedrooms and the house was quiet and very comfortable. We also felt very safe in the house as well as the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the house was even more beautiful than the pictures show! The only down sides were that house cleaning didn't come on the days when they were supposed to and there was no internet in House #6. But the good far outweighs the bad in every way imaginable! Tamarindo was a mess and I am sure that many people who come to relax did not appreciate being awakened at 5:30 to construction. I would avoid the area for awhile now.
