Puesta del Sol is a nicely furnished 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom with just a short walk to Langosta Beach. This home includes, full custom kitchen, gas grill, cable-TV, high speed internet, and A/C. Sleeps a maximum 8 people.Close to the beach in Playa Langosta and a mile from the center of Tamarindo, Puesta del Sol is the luxurious answer to your vacation dreams.Entry is through a large metal gate. Inside the gate you will find plenty of parking, a garage, and small yard. Around back, you will find a large yard, patio area, and pool. The entire property is enclosed by high walls on three sides and a tall lush hedge along the back giving one a sense of complete privacy and seclusion.The house is Hacienda style and ?L? shaped. On one leg of the ?L? are two bedrooms that open onto the patio and pool. Each bedroom has its own bath and shower. On the other leg of the ?L? is a large living, dining, and kitchen area that also opens to the pool and patio. Upstairs is a large master bedroom and bath that overlooks the pool. The bath is beautifully done with marble counter tops and inlaid sinks.The house is wonderfully decorated and fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect in a luxury rental, including TVs, DVD, stereo, washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen.Less than a minute?s walk to Langosta Beach, you?re also just steps away from a small grocery store, three good restaurants, and a small internet cafe. Only a mile and change from the center of Tamarindo, it?s an easy 20 minute walk to town. Langosta is a great place to surf and swim at the mouth of the estuary. Cross the estuary and you?re on one of the most pristine beaches in Costa Rica.

Overall, a great stay A guest from Augusta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Kitchen very well appointed. Property felt safe and secure. Pool well maintained. Would be nice to have some sort of radio to listen to. Written instructions for the safe would be helpful. Furniture a bit worn and some stains on rugs. The guest buzzer didn't seem to be working. We missed a visit from a friend because of this. Great location, very quiet and short walk to beach. Nearby restaurants are wonderful, and RPM staff was pleasant, efficient, and very helpful. Costa Rica March 2012 Rennee S. from Davenport, IA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 All in all I was a bit disappointed with this property.The negatives:The property was a bit smaller in the lower level living space that the pictures indicates. The house needs a a new interior paint job as the walls are plaster and show wear and tear. Several pieces of the furniture were soiled along the edges and looked worn. The rugs that were on the floor had stain marks on them and looked like they should be cleaned or replaced.The duvet in the upstairs master suite had some questionable stains on it.It was very dusty and windy during our trip so we were constantly cleaning the pool area. The pool guy did a great job when he was there but most of the wind made keeping the pool clean impossible.We were unable to use the garage to store the car and had trouble with the gate opening and closing until the last two days.The location of the two lower bedrooms were a bit odd and inconvenient as they had to be entered from the pool area.The positives: The location was perfect for us and we had a rental car so we avoided the 20 minute walk into town.The RPM staff were great to work with.All in all I would not rent this property again but would definitely rent from RPM when we come back to Costa Rica. Comfortable stay at Casa Puest del Sol Audrey D. from Danville, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2009 Loved the house, spacious with open feeling, very private, pool was a great addition. 2 bdrms accessible from backyard only. The walk to town by beach is 30-40 min. Walking on the road was too dusty and hot to even consider. Uncomfortable drive too, roads not paved and very pitted. The beach access to Playa Langosta is easy to get to, but large rocks and limited swimming area. Just north is better for swimming and surfing at Playa Tamarindo. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2009 Wish the pool had been a bit cleaner, you had to skim it every hour or so because the pump doesn't run very often. Mmaintenance shouldn't come in the middle of the afternoon to clean it, when there are only a few hours of sunlight left. Also, they should schedule housekeeping. Twice we had people try to open bedroom doors because we didn't know when they were coming to clean. Otherwise, no complaints. The house was gorgeous, very well-furnished and clean. We hit the fishing "just right"! Reviewed by: Watkins H. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2007 My 18 year old son, a friend of his and his friend's dad and I made this venture. The 4 of us had never traveled together and were looking for a real guys adventure. Between the excellent tuna fishing the first trip out and my son hooking up with a 350 LB. Marlin on the second trip, we couldn't have been more pleased. In addition, we experienced a rodeo, like no other, with beer in hand spectators in the bull ring harassing the bulls!
