I had high expectations of what the condo would look like, because of the photos... when we arrived it was even better than imagined. The condo was beautiful. Everything was clean, the place was furnished very well, and it was perfectly located. Longosta is close enough to Tamarindo to easily get to activities, yet just far enough away that it felt secluded and calm. Lola and the crew on site were extremely helpful. They answered all our questions and helped us to book many fun adventures. Bad beach, bugs, bugs bugs! A guest from Bronx, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2010 We arrived at the condo and were greeted but a swarm of bugs in the kitchen. They were all over the counters and in the microwave. Although relatively new, the kitchen was dirty and unusable because of teh bug situation. Once we informed the manager they sent an exterminator but the bugs returned within hours. we were promised two visits from a housekeeper and found out we were not scheduled for housekeeping at all. the stretch of Longosta Beach in front of the condo was all rock. To get to a "swimming" beach you had to walk fifteen minutes; most of the stores in town are closed - you have to go to Tamarindo for everything. When we complained to the manager they were unresponsive. they were also not helpful with planning activities. When we contacted the owner she was defensive and aggressive. Eventually we were given a partial refund. we also heard chatter around teh pool that our unit also had a bout with bed bugs.Do not rent this unit!
