This unit in Matapalo breathes Mediterranean elegance into a homey two-bedroom condo. Floors are beautifully tiled with round-pebble detail, each ceiling is done in a relief style, and arched doorways with classic columns lead from the main living area into the bedrooms on opposite sides. The rooms are flooded with natural light from large windows and sliding doors that display the spectacular panorama of the Pacific in the background, pool and gardens in the foreground. An ample patio becomes your own private sun deck in the afternoons from which you have a delightful treetop view of the pool and its sunbathers among royal palms.The kitchen is open to the living area and has all the conveniences of home. It is completely furnished with a flattop electric stove, oven, large double-door refrigerator with an ice dispenser, and a dishwasher. Beautiful granite slabs span the reach of the counters. A small and comfortable washroom is located between the kitchen and the main door.The master bedroom is a haven of privacy and luxury. Two sliding doors lead onto balconies; one onto the common out-door space and one onto a small private balcony where you can step out among the stars disappearing into the sea. Perfect With One Hiccup Jose J. from Hayward, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2011 There were 4 of us who were visiting Costa Rica for our first time. Communication with the rental agency (RPM) was very frequent; they answered all our questions in a timely manner. They setup our transportation from and to the airports to make our arrival and departure as painless as possible. The condo unit itself was beautiful. The pictures really don't do it justice. The high ceilings make the unit bigger than it appears.The one hiccup that I would like to mention was that the AC stopped working the day before we left. It made our last night a very warm night which was difficult for some of us to sleep in. We did call the agency who quickly dispatched a maintenance person but he was only able to diagnose the problem. All the actual technicians were unavailable because it was New Year's Day.I would still recommend this unit and this rental agency to anyone though.
