Location, Location, Location…… 5 miles South of Tahoe City, 1 1/2 miles North of Homewood Mountain Resort and ski area and five blocks from Lake Tahoe, a beach and the Tahoe Pine’s homeowner’s association private pier.
Big Water Pines is a charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with loft on a secluded street in Tahoe Pines. On the 1st floor there is a living room with dining area and wood stove, good sized bathroom, laundry facility and a bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a stereo in the living room with a CD player and IPOD docking station and a sliding door to the deck, hot tub and landscaped back yard. The kitchen is fully equipped and a chef’s delight with all the necessities, including pots, pans, dishes, blender, dishwasher and gas stove. Upstairs there is a generous entertainment room with TV & DVD player along with lots of seating including a double sofa/sleeper. Upstairs there is also a large bedroom with a king size bed. The house is equipped with high speed wireless internet.
The cabin is walking distance to the lake and the Tahoe Pine’s homeowner’s association private pier and beach as well as to the Blackwood Canyon trail head to the hiking/biking trails in summer and snowshoeing/cross country skiing in the winter.
During the summer months, there's a hammock nestled in the trees, a landscaped yard, patio furniture, and a gas BBQ.
In the winter, the cabin is close to several ski areas. Homewood Mountain Resort is 1 1/2 miles away and only a call away: Homewood Mountain Dial-A-Ride and they will pick you up from the cabin and deliver you back at the end of the day for free! Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley ski areas are less than 30 minutes away.
There's parking for up to 2 cars maximum.
Cleaning fee of $100 includes linens.
