Loved it Brenda from Shelby Twp, MI, Stayed for 0 days in September, 2012 We had my daughter's Bachelorette Girls weekend over Labor Day. We loved it...we had plenty of space for the 11 of us. The girls enjoyed the hot tub...we couldn't have bonfire since the weather was rainy. In spite of the weather...we had a blast. We watched chick flicks (you had tons of oldies) and did some hiking and truly enjoyed our weekend. We had problems with the complicated stereo in the basement but called the office and they came over and got it running for us...Great service!! the beach was a bit of a disappointment but we only spent about 40 min. there before it began raining...didn't like having to pay $5 per person to get entrance into the parks...seemed pricey to us. Our Return to Bella Dona Mary from Northern VA, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2012 A couple of years ago we stayed at Bella Dona. We enjoyed this home so much we thought we'd try it a second time. Once again, we found we were very happy with the home and OffLake rentals. Bella Dona is located in a very quiet community and very close to lake activities. The home is both cozy and roomy. Needs updating Ellen from Bay Village, Ohio, Stayed for 0 days in July, 2012 While the house was servicable, it certainly needs some updating. The sofa and loveseat need cleaned or replaced both in the living area and lower level. The lower level outside the sliding doors was just so dirty, the sliding doors were never cleaned with hand prints and dirt all over them. We cleaned the doors and hosed off the entire patio, including all the chairs. There was also a very old, damp smell. It could also stand to be painted inside soon. Huge scruff marks on the walls. Everything felt "sticky". The nicest part of this home is the deck and view.		Overall Satisfacation
Loved it! would highly recommend WV Bunch from Hampshire County, Stayed for 0 days in June, 2012 11 of us stayed here for the weekend and we loved it! the layout is great, with the master bedroom and master bathroom being upstairs on the 3rd floor by itself. there are 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen and living room on the main floor, and then 2 more bedrooms, bathroom, living area downstairs. plenty of room for all of us. the house is very well decorated and makes you feel at home. Close location to everything.This was an adult only trip, but i would also like to take my kids here as there are lots of games, movies, etc in the house for the kids. The hot tub was great. i loved that the house had a push button lock code so there are no keys to hand out or keep up with.we will be back next year for sure.The only thing i can even thing of that needs improved is the water pressure in the top 2 bathrooms. It was very weak. And I also think you should have more than one towel per guest when you are only staying the weekend because no one wants to do laundry for a 2 day stay. The location was very convient to Deep Creek lake and very close to all the "happenings". The house was very nice and roomy, with a hot tub, flat screen TV, pool table and plenty of board games and books to enjoy. It was also very accomodating for pets and privacy. Great Thanksgiving! Pallis Family from Mount Holly Springs, Stayed for 0 days in November, 2011 We were lucky enough to find a house to accomodate us at Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time with nieces and nephews and dogs. Although we didn't do any cooking at the house we did notice how well stocked the kitchen was. That will be helpful for future stays. The lake views were gorgeous and the house was semiprivate (house of one side and wooded lot on other side). The hot tub was a little small for the occupancy of the house. Although the floors looked clean, not sure when they were mopped last. Overall this is a wonderful home to stay in with a large group of people.		Overall Satisfacation

Nice location but house was small. Family Reunion from Pittsburgh PA, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2011 There were four adults, a four year old and a one year old in our party and the house felt very crowded. You can't tell by the photo's that the kitchen, dining area and living room are all one room. The stools at the counter are large and bulky and make navigating around the table difficult. The sofas were uncomfortable and space limited. There were two sets of stairs that needed blocked to make it safe for the children and the steps to the front door were steep. The beds were hard and when we set the air temp to make it comfy in the loft, the couple in the basement froze! I am sure this home would be satisfactory as a ski rental but I would never rent it again as a summer getaway. Ps: It would be nice if they at least paved the drive. Property Manager Response: We are very sorry to hear that you found Bella Dona "cramped" and are, frankly, surprised! Most folks comment on the spaciousness of this typical Deep Creek Lake Chalet. With 3 levels of living and 2 separate living areas, & 5 bedrooms, this chalet has been well received by several larger groups. You are correct that there are 6 standard steps to get onto the main deck and there are 2 stairwells inside the 3-level chalet. If this is of concern for a future guest please reserve one of our 1-level homes! We will certainly pass along your comments to the owner regarding the bedding; this is the first complaint regarding the bedding that we have heard of for Bella Dona. Finally, you are correct that the level driveway with turnaround is gravel - this is very common in the Deep Creek Lake market to avoid winter damages to asphalt. Again, we are sorry that you found Bella Dona unsatisfactory for your vacation and we wish we had heard some of your concerns earlier so that we could have helped you find the perfect vacation home! I really liked being able to check-in and check-out with phone calls and emails, instead of going to an office. The house was slightly smaller and much closer to neighbors than was evident in the pictures. However, the amenities were nice, staff were easily accessible when needed, and the house was clean. The only drawback was that the house was definitely meant for "family fun"-there were toys and cartoons everywhere, as well as inspirational literature and motherly decor. Having a "guy's weekend" in this environment felt like we were sneaking into our mom's house. It's not really fair to critique the decoration choices of the homeowners, though; it's their house that we just borrowed. The price was very reasonable, which was a huge advantage over other rentals I've used in the area.		Overall Satisfacation
Spring Break Vacation Rena from Frederick, Stayed for 0 days in April, 2011 The Bella Donna was a wonderful home with all the comforts of home along with a beautiful view and lots of rooms for family to drop in. The master bedroom is a loft with a jetted tub that provided a relaxing bath each night after hiking. The hot tub was delightful and the both gas fireplaces provided so much heat that the entire place was warm and toasty even though it rained a good part of the week. There were so many good books to read in the house and movies to watch which provided entertainment in the evening after dark. Our sons enjoyed the pool table when they visited for Easter dinner and we even played some of the board games provided. All in all the week was very enjoyable and it was very difficult to leave. We were there for "Girls Weekend." Stacy at Offlake Lake Rental was awesome to work with! House was clean! However, we were not able to get internet access but everything else was wonderful! While the wireless internet was installed a day or so prior to your arrival, the technician did fail to leave the security password for the wireless at the home or with our office. The kids were busy downstairs, the weather was perfect and our family reunion at the State Park was great. There was plenty of room for everyone. On two mornings, we saw from 2 to 5 deer in the yard. family fun merrishell from Easton, MD, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2010 My Christmas gift to my family was a ski trip to Wisk. This lovely home accommodated our family nicely. The five bedrooms and two living areas provided a great space for the my husband and I and our three sons and their families to enjoy time together with space to spread out and not be under foot all the time. It was a beautiful location and convenient to recreation. The men enjoyed the hot tub even though the outside temps were quite frigid. The pool table was a big hit as well and the little ones enjoyed the video collection. Everyone had a great time and we will be back. The service from Offlake Rentals was very responsive and timely. It was clean and very comfortable. We liked the open kitchen that flowed into the living room and dining room. We were able to enjoy all our meals together. The basement was a wonderful gathering place with the pool table and family room. The home is located in a good quiet neighborhood not far from shopping and restaurants.
