La Casina del Bosco is placed in an extremely panoramic position in the green and beautiful Alpe di Catenaia, not far from the mountain pass that connects the two valleys of Casentino and Valtiberina. From the house you can glimpse a splendid view on luxuriant woods of ancient oaks and chestnut trees, and on the nearby city of Arezzo, which make the place pleasantly quiet and almost enchanted. A few km far from the property, ascending the Casentino Valley on the left bank of the river Arno, we find Subbiano, industrious, nice village endowed with supermarkets, typical restaurants and shops, which birth can be dated back to the Roman age. The small house which has been recently restored with the ancient, local stone, has old origins as well, and was in fact used by shepherds as a place of rest during the transhumance passage. At clients disposal, a panoramic swimming pool (size mt. 6 x 2,70, depth mt. 1,30) placed among silver olive groves, a nice (heated) hydro massage bath for 5 persons, a pergola equipped with table and chairs to eat outside, a barbecue and garden furniture.
