Bear Lodge is located just 2 blocks walking (600 yds), from the Gondola. The property also provides a private on call shuttle for additional convenience to the mountain.
In the Summer, the mountain and core trail is only a short distance from your door offering pristine scenery, mountain biking, hiking and fishing.
Whether you like to cook or go out, you can rest assured the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and accompanied with top of the line Whirlpool appliances. The finishes in the kitchen, like the remainder of the condo, are nothing less than fantastic, with granite countertops, slate floors and beautiful rich wood cabinetry.
After a hard day of play, relax and lounge in the retreat of the living room on the comfortable sofa by the fireplace and take in music or a movie. Alternatively escape to the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs.
The large deck accomodates mountain views and alpen-glow afternoons.
Each bedroom is well appointed with luxurious linens, feather pillows and bed spreads. Flat screen TVs with built in DVD players are provided for each bedroom as well.

Walking distance to the gondola but with ski boots I would just recommend taking the shuttle. It comes by frequently. Ski lockers were a nice touch, right outside the elevator. There was not much to eat within walking distance. The shuttle to town was o. k. There are a few shops and restaurants at the base area but the property shuttle is also available to downtown where the majority of shops and restaurants are located (3 miles).
