The rental agreement did state ?no shoes in the house? unfortunately, I didn?t enforce that with the kids, and got charged for cleaning the carpets. My fault. But a bummer. Otherwise, all was great. Assistance over the phone got it going. We also had issues figuring out the French steam shower. The guy who assisted with this was less than professional. He acted annoyed that the all female household could not figure it out. Property management may want to send him to a class on how to treat customers. Beautiful House A guest from Los Angeles, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2011 We were very happy with Bear Walk Lodge. We were very close to the Nevada side of Heavenly. We loved the crazy amazing shower upstairs 4 way shower plus sauna and the hot tub outside. Bring your DVDs, for the DVD player. Free wi-fi in the house. No board games, so bring your own. Renovations are still made to the house, so a few patch work here and there. The property manager was great and responded to all our questions promptly.
