Property Details
This two bedroom plus loft is located on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe. The house is very close to Heavenly Ski Resort with amazing views of the lake and mountains. This cozy house has a real Lake Tahoe feel and can sleep eight.

It has a king in the master, queen in bedroom two, two twins in loft and queen sofa sleeper. It has two bathrooms and amazing views of the lake from living room, master bedroom and loft.

In winter, throw on some snow shoes and take a hike from the Condo, or catch a ride with the free Heavenly Shuttle to/from the Stagecoach lift, which is just around the corner, for a full day of skiing or snowboarding.

Once the snow has disappeared, and the summer sun heats up the mountain air, Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place for mountain biking, hiking, swimming.

After a day of physical activity, try your luck at the casinos about five miles away. But maybe you would rather stay in, and watch a good movie, or enjoy a bottle of wine while admiring the amazing lake views and cozying up on the couch with a warm fire. All in all, Lake Tahoe is an amazing place to visit anytime of the year!

If you have a larger goup you can also rent East Peak Loop, it is one door down and also sleeps 8 for a total of up to 16

This property is by no means ski in ski out but located close to the bus and a very short drive from the stagecoach parking lot. The place was a bit on the "cozy" side but we made due. There was very little working television (only a couple cable stations worked) so make sure you can occupy yourself with games etc. The property management was very responsive when I called and came to fix the minor problems we ran into. I would recommend this condo to a smaller group 5-6 people.

Good location, not too comfortable

Here are the good points: The location was great, view of the lake, close to lifts, unit was spacious, kitchen was nice, parking was near the front door and convenient, water pressure was good in the showers.Here are the bad points: No Wi-Fi or dialup internet at all. The combination tiny washer/dryer was barely usable as it took an average of 240 minutes to dry very few items (we were careful to put a couple of items in). Hot water ran out after one person showered (we were careful to take 10 minute showers) then took about a half hour until the hot water replenished. Many of the balusters were extremely loose throughout the home and balconies; the downstairs heating unit at the base of the stairs facing in such a way that you could really burn yourself if accidentally touched, especially if you have young children. The location of this downstairs heater only heated the steps and upper levels (since heat rises), leaving the bedrooms very cold (temp was 60 degrees without the portable heater); there were two portable heaters and one was broken. It was difficult to convince World Class Property management to bring us a new one. The guy said, "I wasn't aware that there were portable heaters provided", "we usually get complaints that the master bedroom is hot, try opening the curtains", "I'm not sure we can get a portable heater to you", "it's the unit owner's responsibility to stock the unit", until my husband had to basically demand it, they dropped one off at 4pm that day. Only one functional TV in the living room with bad reception, a TV downstairs with a VCR and NO CABLE. No drawers in the master bedroom. The master bathroom pocket door was partially broken, and the master bedroom doorknob fell off. My husband had to fix that and the front door knob was loose, too.

Nice view but very dated property

We thought the location was great and the view was fantastic but the property itself needed upgrading. The windows and sliders all need to be replaced as the current uninsulated units were cold and drafty. In the master bedroom we had to pile pillows in front of the operable windows to keep the snow out. The in-wall heating units need to be replaced as they are loud and control of them was difficult at best. The washing machine/drier was not useful as it did not dry anything so we could not use it. I would suggest replacing the current unit with a stacked washer & drier and I would ensure that the drier was a fully exhausted unit. I would also suggest that someone check the HW Heater because one day after just one shower we ran out of hot water. All in all the property was nice and we would consider renting it again, however, the unit still has all the original equipment and it would be a much nicer unit if it were upgraded.

The carpet was filthy, the back bedroom was the black hole of Calcutta, the tap in the main bedroom didn't supply hot water and not fixed until our term almost over. Instructions on how to operate the place were non existent which is ok for USA people but coming from australia we had no idea about garbage, buses etc. we learnt to live in the place and enjoyed many aspects of it and it's location but it is not a place that I would have on my inventory if I wanted to be world class.

Good: great view, good location, quite. Not so Good: stained carpet, musty smell, no chairs on balcony, unsafe balcony railing, pocket door on bathroom inoperable, dated applicances, garbage disposal smelled, not kid friendly, overpriced, high deposit. Do not recommend.

We had fun when we stayed here recently. The only issue was that, the master bed toilet had a broken door that would not close. So, basically everyone had to get out of the room while one was using the toilet. No exhaust fan in either bathrooms. :-( . To be fair to the property manager, he offered to send one to get it fixed but we had to be home when the handyman came and the timings never worked for us.

The Tramway unit has fantastic views and is in a great location for either summer or winter. We arrived and had no problems getting in the property, it was clean upon arrival, and it looked just like the photos on the website. We recommended the property already to someone we met at the airport on the way home, that's how excited we were to have stayed there. We will try to get this unit again next time we visit Tahoe !

Great view, but cold

This property is in a good location, but does not have a garage for parking. It has gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe. The kitchen is somewhat outdated and I had to prop up my cords to use many of the outlets (they kept falling out). Also, the windows are single pane, so the property got very cold at night. The two bedrooms downstairs are heated by a unit in the hallway, so unless you use space heaters, you need to keep the bedroom doors open to get heat. The property is also somewhat dangerous for small children with two staircases and widely spaced balusters. Also, I would not allow small children inthe balconies because of the widely spaced balusters. Finally, the door to the bathroom in the bedroom was stuck and not useable.

Great location, great views, however the condition of the condo was marginal. Carpet was worn and a little stained. Furniture was basic and uncomfortable. Location was an "A" and the condition was a "C."

Great Views, But..........

Furniture was fine, views were great, but the whole place felt grungy. Worst off was the bathroom door in the Master Bedroom was broken. Even worse were the dirty dishes and glasses in the cupboards. Everything had to be washed before we could use it, and who knows what was in the freezer, we refused to open it a second time. We were charged $175.00 for a cleaning fee, and if that is what the company is paying, they are being ripped off. We were glad when the three days were up. Will not rent from this property management company again!
