However the unit itself is best described as tired and surface clean only. The bed linens ie: the comforter and decorative cushions were stained and I had to launder the comforter in order to feel comfortable using it. The cushions we stuffed in the closet. The carpeting should definitely be replaced. We did love the location, the pool area and the grounds were very well maintained. With the exception of the students directly below us(which was addressed) the people in the units around us were very pleasant. Despite the negatives we will return. The owners of the property were in the unit over the Christmas holidays and did the deep cleaning including laundering all of the comforters and shams. The carpeting is cleaned regularly. There wasn't anyone in the condo between the owners and the person who wrote this review. The unit was recently painted, there is a new washer/dryer and window treatments. Stayed for 14 days in September, 2012 I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks, the apartment was spotless when I arrived. The apartment was fresh, the furniture and fittings were up to date and modern and the ammenities were excellent. The pool area was well maintained and clean. It is also close to local attractions, lovely beaches and the downtown area of St Petes. The communication with the rental company was always friendly and professional even when I was a bit ditzy and lost the parking permit and didn't know how to switch the shower on!...all in all a wonderful experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending this rental apartment to anyone.
