The views of the Gulf intra coastal were breathtaking. The unit was well supplied. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. We could have done without the bridge construction but we knew about that before going and it did not spoil a moment. Stayed for 28 days in January, 2012 The appartmet was very well situated (compared to the other appartments in the complex) - in my mind top 3.The road and bridge close by were a bit noisy but the really bad thing about the whole stay was, that they were maintaining the front of the house, so we had noisy workes for the whole month - beginning at 6:50 in the mornings talking loud, and diesel machines running - not to talk of the warning beeping from the machines. Do understand that it has to be done - it was just unfortunal, that it happend during our visit. Another not so good thing was the glasses and plates etc. - they had stains on them that we couldn't get off of them, and they looked a bit nasty.All in all it was a good stay, and I do recomend this appartment for couples and/or familys. The maintence has now been done, and hopefully someone buy new glasses (or get them clean) - the noice from the road you can live with. The weather was wonderful and warm for the time of year. This is a beautiful condo with the best location on the bay. First let me make it clear that this is not a child friendly condo. The pool rules were insane and the security guards made it worst. The condo was in good condition although the blankets, towels, and sofas need major upgrading. The blankets were torn up and the sofas had a horrible odor. We also believe there is cockroaches in the condo as we found two on our stay. Other than that me and my family made the best out of our vacation. We wouldn't recommend this for people with children as it full of grumpy old people who don't allow children in the pool. We wouldn't stay here again. Stayed for 28 days in March, 2011 Our four week stay at Bahia Vista 8-111 where the pool is only steps from the deck which has ample seating was again a super holiday. This unit has a wonderful view of the bay where the boats are continually sailing up and down. The upgrades to the unit by the owners were greatly appreciated with the addition of the king size bed in master bedroom, large screen tv and upgrade to the kitchen ceiling with new lights and fan. We would like to suggest that should further upgrades be planned that new mattress in the guest bedroom would be a wonderful addition. We have booked again for another four weeks in 2012.
