The house had everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful. It was April and although the pool was open, it was too cold. Too bad it wasn't July but then it would have cost a lot more. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 There was a burned out light bulb in the lamp upstairs and no spares that we could find so we borrowed from another lamp. A few ants crawling on the countertop on sink side, but not sure they could be completely eliminated. Prop Mgmt person that checked us in did not seem very sure of herself and was very slow. Before we arrived we called asking for directions and she could not give us street names until she put us on hold and asked for help. We were on the phone about 10-15 just waiting for directions. The view is outstanding. The house says it sleeps 8 but you can easily sleep more. The pool and hot tub were awesome for winding down. It has anything you may ever want to experience all nature has to offer. From fishing/crabbing to a peaceful canoe ride on a lake of glass, Sunrise Cove does not dissappoint. A few more basic household items (toaster, waffle iron), more blankets for fall/winter months. Outside lighting, dome needs cleaning of bugs, ceiling fan blades and kitchen ceiling spider webs. Perfect location, would love to come in the spring/summer months. Helpful, friendly property management personnel. Our property management team was at property within the hour of the guest call referencing a bathroom problem. The toilet was turned off at the bottom of the base. Property management turned water back on and all was functioning perfectly. A toaster is at the home as it is part of our basic equipment list - will make sure it is in a more visible location for the next guest. Waffle Irons may be provided by owners but are not part of the required basic equipment list. Looking out at the cove each morning, watching the blue heron on his perch, the silverfish breaking the water as they swim -- it was heaven. Being within biking distance to St. Michael's was also a plus. My only recommendations for improvement would be to receive the Pre-Check-In E-mail the week before the rental began (it came during the rental week), and to offer an alternative to Masons for catering as they were not able to accommodate our needs. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2010 This is a beautifully situated spacious house located about equidistant between St. Michael's and Easton- a real plus. The view is both private and beautiful over a small inlet that contains resident herons. Canoes,a ping pong table, hottub, and pool added to the experience. The pool could have been a little cleaner. Some people might prefer to drink bottled water as the tap water has a slight off taste/odor.We enjoyed ourselves very much and would stay at Sunrise Cove again if it were possible.
