Our 2-story condo is located in the family-friendly, amenity-rich Crescent Sandpiper complex, which sits beachfront on a high dune. At this mid-size complex you'll find 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, barbeque grills, and private beach access, in addition to the big sundeck. It's a great place for all ages to enjoy the beauty of this part of the coast -- and it's only minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine, world-class golf courses, and so much more!
Crescent Sandpiper 220 is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, with sweeping views of the ocean. Stroll out to our balcony and watch the seabirds soar by in the morning, as the last rays of dawn color the sky. The murmur of the waves is hypnotic, and that fresh, salty sea breeze is so evocative. You're on vacation . . . in paradise!
Just indoors from the balcony is our living room, boasting a comfortable sofa that converts into a bed for 2, a nap-inducing recliner, flat-screen TV, and silent ceiling fan. After a busy day out in the sunshine, you'll love flopping down in this room for a family night with your favorite movie. Mix up something frosty in the blender, toss a bag of popcorn into the microwave, and you're good to go!
You can see the ocean from our living room, and thanks to the open-plan design, the dining area also gives you a glimpse of blue water and blue sky! Our dining table seats 6, with additional cushioned stools at the breakfast bar. This is a great game area as well, so break out the cards and get a Texas Hold'em tournament going!
Just past the dining area is our newly renovated kitchen, with granite countertops, a glasstop stove, tiled flooring, and plenty of cabinet space. We've stocked the kitchen with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils needed to prepare and serve just about anything, so all you have to contribute is food! You'll enjoy working in this sleek, convenient space, even if you're just popping leftovers into the microwave, brewing that heavenly pot of coffee first thing in the morning, or whipping up frothy blender drinks.
This level has a full bathroom as well. All of the towels you need for both bathrooms, as well as all linens, blankets, and pillows for both bedrooms and the fold-out sofa, are provided for you here. Although there is not a washer & dryer in the unit, the laundry room is quite handy to the location of the condo.
The second story of Crescent Sandpiper 220 contains both bedrooms and another full bathroom, newly renovated. You'll love the master bedroom, with a luxurious king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, dresser and closet space, and spectacular views of the ocean and of the beachfront pools at the complex.
The second bedroom contains 2 full-sized bed and a flat screen tv, dresser and closet, and access to the patio with beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. No matter which room you choose, you're guaranteed a lovely water view with either a sunrise or sunset to greet you each day!
We've tried to think of everything at Crescent Sandpiper 220. We have free WiFi for you here, so feel free to bring your electronics. Parking is convenient and safe. And our complex is so friendly, with new things to explore every day. The views simply never stop!

charged more than what was advertised!!! A guest from Elkhart, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 The rental mngt group website said one price but I was charged $200 more for condo. when I questioned I was told they didn't have time to change it yet. They wouldn't stand by the price on web. not happy!the property was older than what it looked on web. we made the best if it as we had no other options. we won't be coming back! Way too much Money for so many issues. A guest from Louisville, KY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 We have been coming to St Augustine for 23 years for vacation and have always had wonderful stays. We tried this place, something new...big mistake. Check in was at 3pm, we arrived at 4pm, unit wasn't cleaned yet...and it took until 730pm till it was. Bath tub upstairs leaked through recessed lighting in the kitchen and dining room so we were afraid of them the whole time and pots sitting every where. Door handle broke off and slice my wife's hand open and she had to go to hospital and get tetanus shot. No Wifi or cable 5 of the 7 days then only wifi. None of these issues, were ever fixed our entire stay except wifi finall started working. Management was very polite (no issues with them personally) but had people with us so many days of the week it became a burden not a vacation. After complaining enough and talking with upper management they did offer a 3 night credit. I have not yet seen this but hopefully soon. Wouldn't recommend, will not go again. I must add, Paul the guy who had to keep dealing with all our issues was a very nice guy, concerned about us dealing with all of this and we appreciated him a lot, he was worried about my wife's hand, the fact we had water pouring down the recessed lighting and pots every where, and he was truly trying to help fix the issues. Bottom line, these shouldn't have been issues while we were there, if the property isn't ready for renters, do not rent it. There are so many great places in St Augustine, for us, this just was not one of them.
