Who would pay 3500.00 dollars to stay here? Ron T. from Mt Vernon, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 26 days in November, 2012 Upon arrival we noticed a hole in wall of garage, garage floor was filthy, the main entrance door was dirty as it could be, the stove top was crusted over with burnt food and we had to clean it, the grass in the yard was 2 feet tall, the A.C. did not work and then we rat feces on couch, on nightstand beside the bed, in the stairway and in the floor of bedrooms 2 and 3, and then the first time we used the clothes dryer it did not work, they fixed it then I discovered it vented directly into the garage blowing the lint all over our car, two windows would not shut due to being rotten, siding was hanging out 3 feet or so on coastal hwy side, it was like do they not know the meaning of maint. I e-mailed the manager and invited him to come down and look but heard no reply. I did video this. SAD A guest from Monroe, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 So many things didn't work the way I wanted them to. The refrigerator didn't keep the drinks cold; the air con. only got down to 77; the dryer did n't work but they did come and fix it. I'm 66 and when I sat on the sofa it was so low I had a hard time gettig up. The tv were difficult to use, you should have someting printed up so you could find the channels. you could not see the beach when you sat on the porch; We had to leave the doors open at night because it was so hot inside and this cause other problems because of the blinds that were over the doors. My wife and I left on tues. and came home even thow we paid to stay threw fri. The home was beautiful, spacious, and included all that one would need for a family vacation. We were able to watch the sunrise from one of the two decks or on the beach itself. Horrible Rental Unit Ken h. from Dayton, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 This unit was a run down dump. The tile was broken so they tried to hide the broken ones under carpet squares, yet you could feel the tiles crunch under your feet. Other tiles were cracked all through the unit. The refrigerator was completely rusted, it looks as though it was found outside in the street. The cabinets were old and the dishwasher was not fitted properly in it. The furniture was also old and outdated, the beds were uncomfortable, the bedroom furniture was old and chipped and mismatched. It looked as though they were all second hand or found at Goodwill. There was not enough plates, glasses or utensils; there was also a towel shortage and the few that were there were old and frayed. There were mites on the outside furniture so you couldn't even sit on the deck without the mites jumping on your or your glasses/dishes. The carpet was stained and old and coming apart from the floor. The trash compacter did not work; the sliding glass doors were rotting and so hard to open and close; the upstairs set was missing the screen in the master room; no beach furniture or items, you must supply your own. Sits right up against the road, and a car hit the mailboxes one night and thankfully didn't hit our car. Could not use the garages and the garage doors were gross and rusty. My daughter had one lightbulb in her room. The only bedroom that had a tv was the master. I could go on with all that is wrong with this rental. Our hotel on the way down was nicer and it was a Holiday Inn Express. For the money we paid it should have been much nicer. We saw our neighbor's unit and it looked like the Ritz Carlton compared to this. She saw ours and said she would have left the night she arrived and demanded a full refund. Be forewarned. House needs work John S. from Jacksonville, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 Very disappointed in the condition of the house. LOTS of broken tile much of which is hidden under carpet tiles but can hear them crunch. The fridge is rusted on the front and really looks terrible. A little paint would go a long way. The furniture is old but decent. Old water damage on ceiling was not covered up well. The Garage has old stuff in it and only usable if you want to make the room yourself. Pictures of course dont show these things so just want to be honest. It is pet friendly and has a small area off the back deck for the dog. The deck and the beach view are wonderfull as is the beach itself. We had a great time and will be returning to the area again just in a different home. Our Stay at the Beach Barbara A. from Nicholasville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 We loved the location of this property and being directly on the beach was a fabulous part of our vacation. We spent many hours sitting on the balcony watching the ocean - such a tranquil experience. We played golf, shopped, experienced the history of the area, and ate...a lot! Everything was in a very short driving time. On the down side - we were never able to access WiFi (3 of us had our laptops), the tiled kitchen floor was broken (but covered with rug remnants) and some of the furniture was outdated, but overall, the experience was great. Great Location, but Issues... Milo F. from Roswell, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 Excellent location and spacious and clean rental. However, several issues. First: mice in the unit. Spotted twice running along floor, they got in pantry, ate bananas sitting on kitchen counter, etc. Property manager has unit treated, but on our last day there, we found fresh evidence. Unacceptable. several small issues (no DVDs in unit despite advertised as such, no remote for upstairs TV/satellite, no access to garage space). Great beachfront location, but would not rent this unit again. Ideal beach townhome A guest from Jacksonville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 I had friends come down from TN and they couldn't have enjoyed themselves more. The property is a sand wedge from the ocean (right on the dunes) with private, direct beach access. The townhome is mostly modernized and very clean. I would suggest calling a day before to make sure they turn the air on before you get there, but that was our only complaint. Vaca.rentalpros. did a great job through the entire stay making sure we were comfortable. We will definitely use them again and possibly stay at this townhome if the opportunity and need arises. nice location - poor upkeep A guest from Warfield, KY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 great oceanfront view, good location - had problems with wifi (that was fixed within hours, the guy that came out was very nice) ? that is where the good review STOPS ... property is listed as a "house" (it is a townhome) - the floor tile is cracked badly in the kitchen - there is a hole in the wall by the back door - there are other "holes" that have been patched but not painted - the yard (oceanside) was badly overgrown & littered with garbage ? master bath is terribly clogged & takes forever to drain ? drywall is peeling in master bedroom ? ceiling is cracking & peeling in all rooms ? sliding door in master bedroom will not lock & has a piece at the bottom that pops up every time you open the door ? doorknob missing from master bath closet ? closet door in 2nd bedroom is very hard to open & close ? all of these problems were reported to management within hours of our arrival ? we were told that they would send someone out to take care of the problems ? NOTHING was done about them ?
