Perfect for 2 families traveling together or any good-sized group, Four Winds I-10 is a sun-swept, spacious, fully appointed home-away-from-home in a family-friendly resort that offers 2 heated swimming pools, a tennis and basketball court, a putt-putt green, outdoor showers, and private beach access, among other amenities. In one direction you have the lush dunes, wide sands, sparkling waves, and vast horizon. In the other, every manner of fun recreational activity. Let's face it: life doesn't get much better than this!

Our 2-storey balcony offers plenty of outdoor seating and casual dining space, while providing a breathtaking view from the living, dining, and kitchen areas. (Where else can you gaze at the ocean while making that first pot of coffee in the morning?) Step inside through the sliding glass doors from the balcony and you find yourself in a light, breezy space with cool tiled floors, comfortable couches and chairs, and a HDTV and DVD player. Ah, time to relax . . . without sacrificing the view!

Adjacent to our living room is the dining area. Now, between the lure of the beach, the balcony. And just beyond the dining area is the kitchen, completely refurbished with new countertops, wood cabinetry, and sparkling appliances. Within these cupboards you will find all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you need to prepare just about any meal. Stop at the supermarket on your way to Four Winds I-10 for a load of groceries, and voila! --your shopping is done for the vacation! Of course, if you plan to avoid cooking at all costs during your vacation, you'll still appreciate the microwave, blender, coffeemaker, and other time-savers.

Speaking of time-savers, you'll find a full-sized washer and dryer here at Four Winds I-10, as well as all the towels and linens for every bed and bath at the condo. Pack light; you can always toss a load of clothes into the wash as you dash outdoors for another wonderful day at the beach!

There are 2 bedrooms at Four Winds I-10, with space to sleep 6. The master suite boasts a king-sized bed, lovely ocean views, and an en-suite bath with both a shower and tub option. All the fittings are new, the atmosphere is calming, and the view is fantastic!

The second bedroom has 2 twin beds beside a long window with fitted blinds that keep the room as light and sunny -- or as thoroughly dark -- as you want.

The view was great being able to sit on the balcony looking out at the beach and the convience of going to the beach. Straight drive to St Augustine to see the Fort and tour St George St. The bad part of the stay was the cleaniness and smell of the condo. I thought they knew someone was coming it would have been aired out smelled musty and the patio door was hard to open. It needs to be cldeaned up and fixed esp. the bottom where the door slides it was rusty and dirty. For the price I feel it needs to be cleaned up better and aired out when it is going to be used.

I have been vacationing at Four Winds for about 18 years. I love the oceanfront and end location of unit I-10. However, I-10 is desperatly in need of an overall update.Paint, window coverings, lampshades, furniture replacement in the living room. The linens and towels are sub par. The comforter in the master bedroom is awful. The window coverings on the ocean front rooms, upstairs and downstairs are old, outdated and very hard to open and close.The sliding glass doors onto the balcony need replacement. The kitchen needs towels, a new sprayer in the sink, and some better basic equipment, such as a blender, a new coffeemaker, a spatula etc.The bathroom floors were clean except around the perimeter, which was filty and should be cleaned every time, not just once a season.The bathroon walls need to be sanded down and the baseboards need to be replaced. The stairway banister is filthy. I don't mind the rubber carpet on the inside stairs, but the carpeting upstairs is filthy and in need of replacement. We would love to keep renting I-10 (2-3 levels) each summer for a week or two and would really like to see this unit get some TLC. Keep us posted :)Judy Fry.

Wonderful view, quiet complex, apartment needs work and paint. Furniture was comfortable. Water pressure in downstairs very low. Needs new carpet or carpet cleaned in bedroom and stairwell. Didn't feel price was fair for what we received. Otherwise, visit was good.

Condo left a lot to be desired- walls need painting, sheets and towels need replacing. Maids need to do a better job, particularly with the floors.

The location of this condo was awesome. The master suite felt luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. There were a few things that could be improved such as the tv. It did not work well the first night we were there, not sure what the problem was but it worked alright the next day. The only other thing that i would change is the checkout time it was too early for me. I would def recommend this condo even with these reservations in mind. It was definetly the relaxing and refreshing experience I was looking for.

Condition of Four Winds I-10 Top 2 Floors

On arrival, from review of property for damage, a hole in bedroom wall and water damage to bathroom wall beside tub was noted, in addition to chair on balcony being broken, no TV reception in bedroom. Reported to VR Pros to document damage not necessarily requesting correction except for TV, however corrections were made to all issues. Condo was extremely dirty on arrival. Balcony floor unusable and window terrible (salt spray & sand). We used a hose from below and fixed balcony, improved window. Louvered door into a/c closet coated in dust, door frames and fans upstaiirs very dusty, baseboards in kitchen, and lower bathroom were disgusting, mirrors and tables smeary. VR Pro sent cleaners and this was corrected to acceptable. In addition fouther improvements are required about we did not report to VR Pros - baseboards and floors near then (esp corners) need cleaning. Upstairs carpet is very very dirty, and area rug in living room needs cleaning. Stairway walls to upstairs has many black marks, hand rail is dirty and paint worn off. Arms of recliner chairs were quite blackened - we cleaned tham as best we could. Screen door will not latch. Patio door is nearing life's end from corrosion, has no screen and will not lock - this is a safety issue. Sprayer in kitchen sink is broken, and for some reason water pressure at kitchen sink is low. Cable connection to downstairs TV was loose causing bad reception, we fixed that. Water had been off at building before we arrived and off 2x while there. This is not an I-10 fault but 1st water was black and silty. We ran ice maker and threw away to purge this issue. In general I10 needs some TLC, and a good overall hands and knees scrubbing. We thank VR Pros for their prompt response to greater concerns that made I10 tolerable for our vacation, however without further improvements to issues we could never recommend or return this unit.

Great location, lacking in general maintenance

Overall the location was excellent and the apartment appeared everything we expected. However general maintenance issues spoiled what could have been a fantastic stay. The washing machine was a continuous problem leaving grease spots over our laundry. After 4 weeks of our stay finally a replacement 'second hand' machine was brought and plumbed in 4 days before departure. Sadly the state of the replacement machine did not encourage us to use it. During the installation paintwork was chipped and carpets stained, increasing the somewhat 'shabby' paintwork appearance. The carpets remained uncleaned.The screen door jammed, meaning we were unable to use the balcony for almost one week despite repeated calls. When maintenance came, they simply broke through it and left it on the balcony until our departure. During a tropical storm a picture fell from the wall. The picture had only been suspended by cotton thread. One evening an electric phase went down. Maintenance came quickly only to reveal that the circuit box was located in the locked apartment below. Power was reinstalled 3 hours later once access had been gained. Not ideal with a 5 year old in our apartment .Some basic investment is needed to make a this apartment value for the money paid and the 5 star standard it is claimed to be

Location was excellent. Place was clean. Both doors are in need of maintenance...very hard to get in and out of. Master bed was great. Other beds had grungy old bedding and not very comfortable at all. I would not recommend this place for these reasons.

Good rental, clean & comfortable. Construction work going on, very noisy, had to go out a few days when we didn't want to, because of the noise. The unit needs a better dishwasher, & please, please a FULL size ironing board. Beds & couches & chairs very comfortable, would rent again, because of location & view
