Less than a minute's walk from the beach, the townhouse at Ocean Club I 18 overlooks a sparkling swimming pool. Located in a cozy oceanfront resort, the condo offers terrific amenities such as a private patio and balcony. It's simply a great place to stay!

Among the many "extras" in our 2-storey townhouse is the oversized garage. Keep your car out of the hot sun and house all your bulky beach equipment -- kayak, jet-ski, bicycles, fishing gear -- out of sight.

On the ground floor, you'll find a pleasant private patio with outdoor seating, leading into the condo via a sliding glass door. The living area is cool, breezy, and comfortable, with a long couch, cozy loveseat, and easy chair all grouped around a large TV with DVD player. Unwind and enjoy your favorite movies and shows with the whole group!

The dining area is connected to the living room in this open-plan design, and features a table that seats 6. Whether your meals are lovingly prepared by hand in our fully equipped kitchen or brought home from one of the world-class restaurants nearby, they might taste just a little better at this table, where you're surrounded by your family or friends. After dinner, clear the dishes away (let the dishwasher handle them!), get out a board game or deck of cards, put on your favorite music, and continue the togetherness.

The kitchen is economically sized and fully stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and dishes you need to prepare and serve any meal. You'll find all the extras here that make vacation life more fun -- a blender, icemaker, microwave, and coffee maker -- as well as every last can-opener and corkscrew you need! (We've also got a washer and dryer, so don't worry about a laundry run interrupting your fun!)

There are 2 bedrooms at Ocean Club I 18, with luxurious beds that guarantee everyone a good night's sleep. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, plenty of closet and dresser space, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Pamper yourself a little and sleep late in this restful, soothing room!

The second bedroom contains 2 double beds, a TV, and access to the balcony, on which you can sit listening to the hypnotic murmur of the ocean. Our balcony has a lovely view of the grassy courtyard and pool in the condo complex, and it's a great place to wind down before bed or greet the rising sun for another perfect day at the beach!

The second bathroom contains both a bathtub and shower option, and is convenient to the bedroom. All linens, pillows, blankets, and towel sets are waiting for you at Ocean Club I 18, so you can pack light.

Condo was ok, basic repairs needed to both screen doors. Everything else worked fine! Kitchen needs to be restocked with silverware and a decent frying pan. this unit needs an update on some furniture, linens.

For starts the A.C. unit was not up to pare. When I called the maintenance company they said I would have to call the Tech. That's not my job I am on vacation. So know one ever came. The bathroom tube upstairs did not drain. Really! The carpet is as old as the unit itself. Stains, hard parts, and musty smell. I had to lay extra blankets on the floor just so my kids could sit and play. The furniture is the same. It has holes in it so they patched it and the patches are falling off. I put bed sheets on them so we could actually sit. I have been coming to Ocean Club 1 and 2 since I was a child. I have never had a condo look like this. It was over all dirty and I didn't get my moneys worth. Sad to say I will not be returning

Our annual trip to St. Augustine Beach

Over all it was a nice trip. This was our third year staying in the Ocean Club Condos. We have always had good experiences and we love having a garage to store all of our beach stuff. This year we were disappointed in Unit 18 because it had not been updated as the other units we had stayed in during previous visits. Some of the items of concern included: stains on the carpet, lamps that did not work, lamp shades that were soiled and had yellowed over the years, holes in the arm rest on the love seat that were patched with iron-on patches that were pealing off and the unit was very dusty. Maintenance responded within 24 hours and cleaned the unit, cleaned the AC vents, and replaced the filthy AC filter with a new filter. The cleaning did help those of us who have allergies. Up grades are much needed in this unit. We will not be staying in Unit 18, again. Several representative from Vacation Rentals Pro had contacted me during our stay and they did what they could. We will be using Vacation Rentals Pro again for our booking needs.

Not very happy with stay

there was no electric for lights in garage, kitchen and living room. I called and they said they would send someone out. They never came. Food was left in dining room chair.

This unit needs some serious updating & amenities. The decor in the unit is VERY dated, there was a repair to the loveseat that was very poorly done with 2 iron on patches that were peeling up, one of the lamps in the living room had to be plugged and unplugged to turn it on, a safety issue that made me glad we didn't have any children with us. The dining room table and chairs are very rickety & need replacement or serious repair, another reason I was glad we didn't bring kids again! The patio furniture was in bad condition, dirty, flimsy and only 3 chairs on the lower patio and a tiny table and nothing on the top balcony. The beds were all 3 very hard & uncomfortable to sleep on. The blinds in the "master" bedroom were missing a slat, which we found and managed to prop in place to block the lights from outside at night so we could sleep. When we arrived the a/c must have been set about 80, because it was VERY warm & all the blinds were open allowing tons of sun to heat up the rooms and it took one entire day to cool off. There were minimal kitchen supplies - need more utensils and pots and pans to choose from. At every other condo we have ever rented, when we arrived the bathrooms were all set and ready to use - towels out, a mini prewrapped soap, and a roll of toilet tissue was out - this was not the case, I had to search for towels and there was no soap available to even wash our hands before heading out to the grocery store! Also the unit was presented that there were "starter" items provided to get you by until you go to the grocery to get your weeks supplies, this was not the case - no paper towels, no sample bottle of dish soap. No wifi was a big disappointment - in this day and age this should be provided - this was stated in the description now that I look back, so that is my fault for not knowing. We will most likely not stay at this unit again. With a nominal budget, this unit could be updated, made more comfortable and safe for tenants.

The location of this condo is excellent, both in relation to the area and within the complex. The condition of the interior is minimal--repairs needed on equipment, furniture, construction and supplies. Our 2nd year and only one thing had been changed-the microwave did not shoot fireballs IF it worked. The number sequence is a mess. A big surprise this time--not one pan had been cleaned, just stacked in the cupboard,greasy and crumbly. All kitchen items had a dishwasher go before the use of anything, just in case. Not an earth shattering experience but very discouraging at this level. The neighbors informed us that many of what renters there are have complained a lot to no avail. The owners seem oblivious. The repairs are their issue and an asset to their investment. The cleaning is for the agency to check out! Weather--Mother Nature has issues!!

This is the second season we had the misfortune to stay at #18---long story for another time. Not a thing has changed. The rugs are dirty & stained. The dinning room chairs are ready to collapse. The sliding screens doors are totally inoperable. I could go on & on. The neighbors claim the owner has not put a dime in it since the day he purchased it. Not hard to believe.I hope this note reaches the owner---it may help the next vacationer.

The location is great---direct acess to the beach.With regard to cleanliness & good-condition, I offer the following:1. The screen doors do not roll on their tacks.2. The micro-wave is in sad shape--- operationally.3. The rugs were very dirty---stained through out.4. The big issue was the bedding. All three beds are in need of replacement (some time ago)---in very bad condition.With regard to the staff---very helpfull, however; could not gain acess to the owner for such issues as internet service or new bedding for next year stay.We would have returned to this property next year were it not for the bedding issue alone.

Unit was dirty (counter tops, windows and carpet) Furniture has iron on patches over the holes, carpet needs steam cleaning or replacing. Kitchen faucet hums loudly every time you use internet conection. On a positive note the air conditioning works well. This unit will need to be updated before I would rent it again.

This was our third stay (within the past four years) at Ocean Club, and have had an enjoyable stay each visit. That being said -The rental unit we stayed in this year could use some general upkeep and could stand a deep cleaning. Or maybe just a decent cleaning in general. Furniture within the unit had patches (I assume to cover holes?) In addition, there were very visible streaks on the dining room table, and outside of the microwave (could write a visible message on the outside of the microwave.) Whether this was due to the type of cleaning solution used, I'm not sure. I do know that I prefer not to enter a partially clean rental unit. There was a number provided to call in case of issues with cleaning - but to be quite honest I feel if the cleaning staff can't properly clean the first time around - I do not want them returning to interrupt my vacation in order to do their job a second time. Other than the overall condition of the unit, our vacation was enjoyable as always. Downtown St. Augustine, and the beach of course are the main reasons we will return in the future. Though I will most certainly not book this same rental unit.

The description was a little misleading that was listed during booking. There was no bathroom connected to the master bedroom. There is 1 bath upstairs and 1 bath downstairs. The kitchen only had 1 frying pan and it was a small one, which made it difficult to cook breakfast. It was not a fully stocked kitchen as listed. The DVD player was missing; however we reported it Sat upon arrival and by Tues we did have a DVD player. The maintenance man was very courteous. During our stay the toilet lid was broke and he fixed it timely. The location was great. A block off the beach and the pool was exceptionally clean and never crowded. This condo is about 15 minutes from downtown, which was fantastic. We only had 1 key and 2 would have been nice as we had to hide the key since there were 4 adults and we were not all going the same direction. The washer and dryer were awesome. It was great not coming home with dirty clothes.

The condo was located just a short walk to the beach, which is what we needed with 4 children between the ages of 3-11. As well the pool was 20ft off the back porch. Disappointed as the listing stated that a DVD player was apart of the amenities in the living room, and there was none. As well it is listed "The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, plenty of closet and dresser space, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Pamper yourself a little and sleep late in this restful, soothing room!" and by definition and en-suite bathroom is....."An en-suite bathroom or en-suite shower room (also en suite, ensuite and other variations) is a bathroom or shower room attached to and only accessible from a bedroom." Not the case, it is an average bathroom, located in between the 2 bedrooms upstairs, there is no access to the bathroom from either of the bedrooms. Also that walk-in shower is located downstairs not upstairs. Pots and pans were limited. Overall the condo was nice, just wish the listing was a bit more honest on what is provided so that we as guest could have brought our own.
