Dated and run-down Lucy F. from Atlanta, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2013 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in spite of the condition of the condo. Our friends stayed next door and theirs was in much better shape. There is a gaping hole where the seal is missing in the upstairs master sliding door. There was only one working lamp in the living area. Overall this property is severely dated and needs work. Our neighbors had nicer furniture, a better equipped kitchen and just looked and felt better. Not what I expected A guest from Floral City, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in September, 2012 The unit we rented was not what we expected. The furniture was very outdated (I mean old), some pieces were rickety. The wallpaper in the bathrooms was dizzying and peeling away from the walls. The carpets need replaced as they are stained. The kitchen cupboards were extremely disorganized into a heap and some dishes had old residue on them. The vertical blinds in the living room and master bedroom need replaced as some are missing/broken and very difficult to open. One wall in the master bedroom had no power to it (ie no TV working, no lights or plug ins). It's just an old unit that needs remodeling but I will not be back. Run Down and in Poor condition Robin W. from Englewood, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 the unit was filthy upon arrival, however after a few phone calls to the management company it was taken care of. The carpet was heavily soiled and smelled of mold and mildew. The blinds were missing slats and difficult to use. The beds in the master bedroom were two twins stuck together one was higher than the other. Futon/sofa was hard as a rock, faded and uncomfortable to sit on. The chairs were no better. Duct tape to hold a towel rack together unbelievable $7.00 at Lowes. the write up very deceptive paint chipped every door banged up the list goes on. The view was incredible. Location was great. I would probably rent from vacation pros again. It comes down to view Laura F. from Rincon, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2012 If view is #1, then this is the place. It was pricey considering the carpets were previously partied on and had to be cleaned while we were there. The furniture really needs to be replaced/updated, it looks like it was purchased from a yard sale. Some lights needed to be replaced and the one on main balcony didn't exist. The view and location were great. I think I will stick with renting cabins from now on. A week at A 207 Island House Myron H. from Live Oak, Florida does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 At this time I would not recommend this property to any one. I'm sure it can be improved. There was one wash cloth available; the main floor glass door could not be locked; the bed in the master bedroom was awful; the light and exhaust fan in the master bath came on and off sporadically; and the cover for the master bed room bed smelled like urine. The toilets would not flush one morning. Otherwise the a/c worked very well and the view was fabulous.
