Explore beautiful St. Augustine from the comfort of our breezy island retreat at Ocean Village Club G12. Featuring a new HDTV with DVD player, Wifi inside, wonderfully comfortable, newly updated & spotlessly clean, our condo is located in a beachside complex -- the perfect venue for your vacation!
Easily accessible on the ground floor, our condo is just made for sleeping in, relaxing, taking day trips to the beach and other attractions, and curling up in every night! We have a big shady patio right outside the living room and master bedroom, with casual seating and a nice view of the grounds. The best part about this patio, though, is that you can feel that zesty sea breeze and smell that ocean air every time you sit out here! You're just yards from the Atlantic Ocean here at Ocean Village Club G12, and you feel even closer on the patio.
Our open-plan living space includes a roomy great room with a 32" HDTV, DVD player, and comfy couch and loveseat. (Warning: naps are a constant "problem" here!) The couch opens into a sleeper for 2, giving those lucky folks a great view of the sunrise should they choose to leave the drapes open one night. This space just feels good, and you may find the kids sprawling out on the floor with their toys right away, already at home at Ocean Village Club G12. Let them play -- there's room to spare! There is also wifi internet available inside this unit!
Just past this area is our dining table and chairs. Our oblong table seats 6, and the mood can be set by the hanging light and the music system nearby. Dine in style here, or just use it for fiendish rounds of Old Maid or Crazy Eights. It's even a good place to pop open the laptop and check on directions to the next big attraction you'll be visiting. If you plan on a pool day, wireless Internet is free in the club house at Ocean Village Club, so bring your computer and begin sharing photos and stories about your fabulous St. Augustine vacation right away on Facebook!
The bright, light-as-air ambience of our condo continues into the kitchen, which you'll find fully stocked with equipment and sparkling clean. You could whip up a full Thanksgiving dinner for 6 in this kitchen, with all of the cookware, dishes, and utensils provided. But even if you're just microwaving takeout and making coffee or blender drinks, you'll find it a pleasant and convenient room. It's even got a washer and dryer, stacked in a closet off to one side. Just pop those towels in the washer and take off for a day at the beach. The appliances do the work!
In the sleeping area of our condo, bright and airy give way to calm and restful. The master suite is decorated in muted colors, with a very relaxing queen-size bed, TV, ceiling fan, sliding glass doors to the patio, and en suite bathroom. You'll love the closet and dresser space, the big window, and most of all, the comfort and ease of the bed. Always a good night's sleep here at Ocean Village Club G12!
The master bathroom contains a shower, with the powder area a bit separate from the rest. It's lovely to have this bathroom completely private to your suite! The second bathroom is convenient to the guest room, and also contains both a shower and a tub.
The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, plenty of closet space, and a calming décor. This is the perfect arrangement for 2 couples traveling together -- no twin beds to contend with!
As agreeable as our condo is, you may find yourself spending too little time here. The location is just too convenient to so many things, from the private walkway to the beach to two swimming pools (one right outside your door!), tennis and shuffleboard courts, a clubhouse with a fitness center, library, guest computer, and picnic areas on the grounds. Ours is a family-oriented, gated and secure complex right on the shores of St. Augustine Beach. It's simply irresistible!

As good as any. Debra W. from Cumming, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2011 The unit was clean and a good size for 4 people. The only complaint for us was the master bed was rock hard and we found our chest and back area was extremely sore upon waking so we took all the comforters and blankets and added them under the sheet to soften alittle. By the 3rd day we could hardly breath our backs hurt so bad. This could be solved with a mattress foam topper. The living room fan/light globes were broken, barely hanging there and pieces of glass kept falling down on us so we removed the broken globes. Tried to call the management company and we kept getting disconnected so we took care of the problem ourself. All in all it is a nice place. We would not be able to return due to the mattress issue but would not hesitate if the mattress was corrected. Bad Start to a Good Week Lynn Y. from St Augustine, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 I do want to say, we did have a nice time at OVC G12. When we arrived, the unit had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I called the property manager and he did send over a cleaning crew - he said he would also be over in 10 minutes - never saw him. The ladies doing the cleaning did a great job except because it was so late, asked us to finish the laundry (2 more loads). I told them that was fine - we didn't really have a choice. They did say we didn't have to start out laundry, but I felt that would be unfair to the cleaning crew when we left.Our next issue happened on Monday - the toilet in the master bath had water spraying from the connection to the wall. I turned off the water and called Vacation Rental Pros - after 4 hrs and 4 phone calls the plumber got there. I realize things take time, but the management company didn't seem to grasp the fact that water was still running on the bathroom floor. We ended up with all the towels in the unit wet (more laundry). The water had seeped into the floor of the closet and by the vanity area. The plumber got the water shut off and replaced a part, but had to get the owners approval to replace the toilet (again I understand these things). Finally on Tuesday afternoon after several more calls to Vacation Rental Pros to get an update - they replaced the toilet. Thankfully no more problems. OVC is a nice community and G12 is a great condo. My one complaint with the unit is that is you have free WiFi, you should have the password someplace. I did email Vacation Rental Pros and received the password. The unit was very nice - it was nice to have a king in one bedroom and a queen in the other. My biggest complaint was lack of communication on Vacation Rental Pros part. If I had not known to turn off the water valve behind the toilet, this entire unit would have flooded. I know I talked to at least 4 different people in their office, but no one seemed concerned about it. A Good Get-a-Way location. Lana L C. from Davie, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2011 Absolutely great location and property for beach-side fun (approx. 100 yds.) and poolside fun(approx. 75 ft from the back door.) It was a wonderful get-away for my husband and myself. The complex grounds were clean, accessible and very quiet. Another great attribute was the condo was close to all local attractions in the area. The only things you literally needed when you first arrived were clothes and food. Everything else you needed was supplied and available in the unit. The fact that there was WiFi and at least one digital TV in the condo was a plus, and very much appreciated.There were some issues with the condo, but Steve addressed them immediately. In addition, it was a pleasure working with all the staff at Vacation Rentals Pro, I experienced professional individuals and always had a quick response to all inquiries.I look forward to booking again soon. No wi-fi Michele G. from Sarver, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2010 I believe before someone is scheduled to check in all the working parts of the condo should be checked such as heat/air and water heaters. Our water was cold and to contact somone. The response time was wonderful. I also believe they should have wi-fi in the condo not just the club house. I was very disappointed especially because when I booked it said wi fi available. This was a bigf inconvenience for me. I had to go other places to work.
