Looking forward to a memorable time with a family reunion or large group gathering? The largest of our private homes, the Marshall 6 bedroom home can generously sleep 15 guests. All this and a private Jacuzzi on your front deck!

The Marshall Trail home has 6 bedrooms plus a loft/sitting area and 3 full baths. Tall open beamed ceilings and extra large windows with window seating are a few of the upgrades that the owner has provided with their remodel. The comfortable living area with 32 in TV + HBO, opens to a country kitchen, with seating for 8, plus there is additional seating for 4 at the table in the loft area. Buffet style-dining works well in this floor plan. The bedroom configuration includes 4 bedrooms on the main floor: Queen, Queen, 2 Twins, Double with crib (linen not provided for crib). 2 bedrooms upstairs: 1 King, Queen + 2 bunk bed sets. Futon in loft/sitting room. SatelliteTV(with HBO)/VCR/DVD/DVR, stereo CD player, wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer and WIFI. The front deck runs the length of the home and comes equipped with seasonal furniture and a PRIVATE HOT TUB. Parking provided for 4 standard sized cars in driveway. This house is Pet Friendly.

WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT WE WOLD NOT HAVE GARAGE ACCESS. THE LOFT KINDA WASTE OF SPACE ... NO TV NO POOLTABLE ECT. THE BACK DOOR LOCK NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. The beding had human hair present. 2) Bathroom up stairs faucet knobs were broken or not fuctioning also the door knob to the bathroom upstairs kept falling off. (thank got we brought some tools to remedy that our selves.)3) Master Bedroom or the room next the bathroom upstairs had no heating 4) Jacuzzi did not work properly5) Garage door was not accessible 6) Fireplace had no wood at the property7) Spider webs in everyroom. Great place for adult groups! Jeanette H. from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 This cabin has it all: something for everyone, a great price, and comfortable accommodations for our large group (15 adults including 4 sets of couples). Folks went running/hiking/snowshoeing just up the road from the cabin, skiing/boarding at Heavenly, and even snowmobiling in Zephyr Cove. It's all so close! At the end of the day, there was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out on the couches and around the kitchen table for family style dinner. The only criticisms are that the hot tub is cozy and doesn't stay hot for long, getting the right temperature in the cabin throughout the night was tricky, and the remote sometimes didn't work. (Of course, these issues may be explained by user-error.) Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back! Stayed for 7 days in February, 2009 The directions for the use of the electronic equipment (especially the stereo) could have been more explicit.The driveway can easily handle 5-6 normal vehicles versus the 4 stated.A note should have been made about the one upstairs bedroom needing to use a space heater for heating.For a place that accomodates 15 there should have been more trash containers.A place to store skis would have been helpful.The ice on the deck to the hot tub was an inconvenience and safety hazard. If the deck isn't provided clean, then adequate tools to clean should have been provided (a plastic snow shovel doesn't cut it). A small privacy fence between road and hot tub would have been nice.Otherwise, the accomodations were very good, and my friends had no complaints. SO we had to put the trash on the side of the house which the animals got into. Trash was everywhere which we had to clean and pick up.
