The pictures don't do it justice AirDust from Dallas, Stayed for 0 days in February, 2009 This house is very nice. We had 7 guys on a ski trip and we never felt like we were cramped or crowded in any way. The kitchen is really nice and it is stocked with everything you need except food and drinks. The hot tub, which I truthfully didn't think we would actually use, was a welcoming beacon on the deck after a long day on the slopes. And convenience? YES the picture taken from a strange angle with a horrible camera that makes this place look like it is across the street from the slopes is 100% accurate. The Gondola can't be more than 100 yards from the garage door of this fantastic ski property. Just walk up the stairs and across a parking lot and hop on the Gondola. We were consistently among the first people on the mountain. The only knock on this house is that skiing back to the bottom on the California side is a pain, as in a Double Black with a 25 degree pitch or a long winding almost cross-country ski trail pain for your last run of the day, but you can't really blame the house for the difficulty of the slope leading down to it, and if you are tired or a bit drunk, you can always take the Gondola back to the bottom. |
