The Tata home is a pleasant, single story home in a neighborhood area, close to shopping and restaurants. The open floor plan allows for a kitchen adjacent to the dining area and main living room. There are two private bedrooms and one semi-private bedroom (trundle bed) with louvered doors to the living area. With the use of a sleeper sofa in the living area, this home can accommodate 8! This home offers a gas BBQ on the back deck, 32 inch flat screen TV in the Master Bedroom with several HDTV channels, and WIFI. A very comfortable family home, it is also pet friendly with an added security deposit. They owner has left a sled and a few snow toys for your use as well on the sledding hill a few blocks down the street. Permit # 003063

Basic, no-frills, rental house Martha M. from Roseville, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2013 This is a basic rental house - nothing fancy. The main reason for our disapointment was that it is advertised as having a fenced yard, which is why we chose it - and one whole side of the fence was missing. There is a tv in the living room and one in the bedroom (which isn't clear from the description), with plenty of cable stations and a DVD player in the living room. There are several solar tubes including one in the master bedroom, so if you want to sleep in and light wakes you up, this may not be the best room to sleep in. The location is nice - convenient to 50 and shops, and the sledding hill (at the end of F street) looks great (it was pretty icy when we were there, so we didn't actually try it). The house has plenty of games in the hall closet, as well as hairdryers, and an iron. The kitchen is pretty basic, but we were able to do some simple cooking without much trouble - mix and match pots and pans and utensils. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 We rented the house as a follow up Christmas present for our 4 year old Granddaughter who loves the snow and wrote to Santa requesting a snow suit and to play in the snow. And though the snow was not a plentiful as in previous years, we were still able to make a snowman, have snowball fights, make snow angels and watch as my granddaughters face glowed. Fairly Reasonable and Comfortable A guest from San Ramon, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 Besides the known issue about limited hot water and pot and pans; this home served a very warm and comfortable stay for a weekend. I couldn't figure opening the garage door from the outside; but that's not a big deal. The owners could use a few upgrades on the appliances etc. The light about the dining table doesn't work too. A few minor things ... that's all. Overall it was a very well located home; We could just walk over to Railey and back with no sweat .... Thanks! Stayed for 6 days in December, 2011 We rented Tata Home from Dec 22-28 and it was a perfect house for two families with small children. The living room is large and can accommodate kids and adults without feeling cramped. The bedrooms were well stocked with towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. The kitchen appliances could be improved, but they all worked fine. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay! A home away from home during the holidays! Good vacation with family and pets Catherine M. from Antelope, California recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2011 This worked out very well for our family. I had my sons (and spouses), grandchildren and three small dogs stay. The house was a good fit. There was an oder from the owner's dog, but that was mostly in the garage. We bought some spray deoderizer. If you have pets this is not a big deal. The thermostat would separate, and then the heat would go off. We quickly learned how to put it back and get it working again. There was not a garbage can in the kitchen to put our bags into, so we got a big box at the grocery store to use while there. All these were minor things, only mention them so if you stay there you will know what to do to deal with them. The beds were comfortable, there were enough pillows and towells. We cooked our meals there and though the things in the kitchen are a hoge poge of mismatched utensils, pans, etc. we were able to make due. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend this to friends. We hiked the area that advertised as a sleigh riding area and had a great time. Property had a two car garage, a plus. Showering for the group was a chalenge as a standard 40 gallon heater gets used up quickly. Kitchen would benefit from an exterior vented exhaust hood as cooking is a benefit from renting a cabin/residence.Property was very helpful identifying locations for snow play for the kids. We also left our ski pole in the garage that the managers were able to locate and hold for us. Was willing to mail back to us. We opt to pickup, hopefully soon. Keep posted.
