Great Ski Trip Alex from Chicago, IL, Stayed for 0 days in January, 2013 We really enjoyed our time at Solitude. It was a very quiet ski experience with no lift lines, no waiting for anything really. Megan at Canyon Vacation Rentals took great care of our group when our original place had a flood! If you're looking for a quiet, easy ski trip, Solitude is great. |

This condo was spacious and perfect for a family of four plus gr Jean from Alexandria VA, Stayed for 0 days in July, 2012 With a master bedroom and bath at each end of the apartment, we had a great deal of quiet privacy. The two kids loved the bunk room off the living room, with the third bath nearby. We had read that the apartment could be hot during the day, and it was. However, we used the available fans, kept the blinds closed in the morning when the sun was on our east-facing windows, and opened up wide at night. We were very comfortable. The kids room had no windows, so they had to keep the double doors open and a fan running. They found the upper bunk a little toasty, and they both slept in the lower double bunk. The kids loved the pool with water slide. Everyone did a little hiking, some rented mountain bikes. A wonderful time was had by all. |

Best Ski Trip Ever mweinstein from Texas, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2011 This was probably the best ski trip I've ever had. We stayed during Spring Break and Solitude lived up to its name. There were never any lift lines, no crowded streets and virtually no one on the mountain. We thought something was wrong but then spoke with several regulars at the property and they all confirmed that this is business as usual. As for the accommodations, I had very few complaints. The location was excellent and within walking distances to everything in the resort. The room could have used some updates (like new tvs), but we're very suitable for the price. The only thing I would recommend is that you stop at a grocery store before leaving Salt Lake. We assumed it was going to be like a standard Colorado resort and didn't realize that there were only 4 dinner restaurants in the area. Further, they do have a general store in the area, but it is literally a closet stocked with broken up costco packages. Lastly, please don't visit this place. Not to be to greedy, but I don't want everyone visiting and ruining my experience. |

Great Summer Getaway Matt from Kentucky, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2010 We stayed here 3 nights in august 2010. The condo was spacious, having plenty of room for our group. Close to all of the summer activities Solitude has to offer, including a great pool with a water slide. We would certainly stay here again. Kitchen was well appointed and located making cooking easy and social. One minor thing to note- the units are not air conditioned and on warm summer days like we had, it gets fairly warm on this top floor. The unit has many fans and windows that help to cool it down in time for bed. Something to consider if you don't plan on being outside all day, or if you have little ones who need naps. |

Great condo! Navajo Nat from Athens, GA, Stayed for 0 days in January, 2010 There were 6 in our party and we had a wonderful stay in this unit. Very well appointed, great living space for all. Kitchen is a little small, but limit the number of chefs and they can whip up a terrific meal with the tools on hand. Shannon and Damon of Canyon Vacation Rentals were great to work with and extended themselves to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Would definitely rent this unit from these folks again. Highly recommend them. Natalie PS. Solitude rocks--but please don't tell anybody! |
