Stayed for 36 days in February, 2013 Our overall stay at 121A was wonderful with the exception of the stained carpeting and the hot tub was not in desirable condition. The condo kitchen was very well equipped and the appliances worked well. More kitchen towels would be convenient. Short Stay A guest from Hastings, NE does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 This is the third time we have rented this particular unit. When we arrived at the Wildernest management office to pick up our packet (it was shortly after the office closed), we discovered that there was no key in the packet. We called the customer service number and after about 15 minutes we had a key to this location. This was after the staff person asked if we were sure we hadn't just dropped the key somewhere. Since we hadn't gone anywhere but our vehicle we told her that was highly unlikely. When we arrived at the property, we discovered we had no water! After another round of phone calls and being told that someone was on their way, we found the shut-off valve and turned the water on ourselves. The last time we had rented this unit, we informed the staff that the hot water heater wasn't reliable. As soon as you stepped into the shower and got your hair wet, the water went ice cold and then when you readjusted the faucet, you got scalded. It was still the same way on this trip. The hot tub was ok, but it obviously needed serviced. There was barey enough water in it to cover the jets. We own a hot tub at our home and know a fair amount about taking care of it. We spent a fair amount of time the first night getting the circulating jets moving again because most of them were siezed up. This is a nice town home and it was clean and comfortable with the exception of the above-mentioned items. We probably won't stay here again, though, if these things are not corrected. We have recommended this property to others before, but now these concerns need to be addressed. We have never had issues with the office staff before when checking in, either. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2012 We had a great time - the only problem we had was the hot tub did not work and it was very disappointing to the family when we found out. The evenings were perfect for a Hot Tub experience. The only other thing is that there was no iron in the unit and i think that should be mentioned in the info package. There is an ironing board but no iron. Other than that it was perfect for our ecperience. The location was great and the view was incredible. Looking out at the pond with geese and ducks swimming was so relaxing. Can't wait to stay here again!!!
