The condo was clean and just as advertised. The beds were comfy and it suited our needs very well. My only complaint would be the showers. They only seemed to have one setting and that was jetting out extremely fast in one stream. It was slightly uncomfortable. Overall, a very nice place though. The property was well maintained and the staff at Wildernest were great at answering any questions we had. We arrived late in the evening and the keys and directions to the unit were where we were promised they would be. All of the amenities we could ask for in a unit like this were there. Lacked attention to detail... A guest from Urbandale, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 Location was convenient once you realize it is much easier to come up Buffalo. Beds were comfortable with new linens, tons of towels and we liked the new paint and new carpet. Not so positives were that the kitchen sink faucet was stuck on sprayer & no one came to fix it, there was a stack of dirty sheets in linen closet left from previous renter( which they did come pick up), bathroom showers needed new caulk as edges were old and stained making it look dirty, there weren't very many pillows for as many beds available, place sleeps 8 but only 4 chairs and no extras like foldout chairs available, nice view but no patio chairs, some dishes were dirty and dishwasher was extremely loud and appeared original, oven was dorm size so you can only cook personal size pizza - no Nick and Willy's, medicine cabinets plus almost all the bedroom and hall closet space were full of owner's disorganized personal stuff and with only 1 tiny half dresser you end up without a place to put your clothes. It was nice to have washer & dryer but they were also loud and steamed up whole place, there was a random square hole in drywall maybe for a future outlet in bunk room ...Overall it was OK; I tried to mention everything I noticed as to not disappoint a future guest, not to just complain. As far as value = sure there are better places our there with wifi, hot tubs etc. if you plan far enough ahead. Personally as a transplanted Colorado Native; I believe I am somewhat forgiving in regards to vacation rentals as I was just happy to be able to ski and be back in my home state. Plan ahead if you want discount tickets thru front desk because they do not open until 8. Staff seemed nice enough as well!
