Disappointed in directions given and location Cynthia W. from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 First of all GPS does not send us to your office location to pick up the key and map. We repeatedly had to stop to ask for directions. There should be a map to the office send to me in an email when we made our reservation because I'm sure others have had this same problem and you are aware of this issue. Then the map we picked up at the office with the key was not clear how to get into the property. We got lost again because the signage at night could not be seen until the next day in the daylight. We went into CCDD property climbing the steps to the pool entrance side lugging all our luggage and ski boots and then realizing we were in the wrong building after a long day of skiing. We then lugged all our luggage back to the car down the stairs and drove to the AABB building and finally got in our room. We were so exhausted. I had called twice from Charlotte to get specific directions and asked if there were anything I needed to know to find the unit. I thought I had all I needed to know from the agent. We should have gotten two keys instead of just one when we picked up the map. Also the unit didn't have coffee filters in the unit which I bought coffee. We were told there would be one morning of coffee in the unit but there was not any coffee. The silverware was cheap and the breakfast bars were grose. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the firewood was a great asset but the wrong kind of wood. Only it was pine which burns fast and hot. It should be oak wood. The water pressure was good and we had plenty of towels. We also should have gotten two keys instead of just one when we picked up the map. Just giving you this info so others don't have the same problems we had or at least help prevent them in the future by warning them and giving them better directions. Thank you. Wildernest has been helpful in us enjoying our time. This building is a little older but has a nice setup for us. The Ups and Downs of Renting at Wilderness Helen or David B. from Lincoln, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We rent condos at Wilderness, Buffalo Village AA, BB, or CC every three years with our entire family of l7, mostly children. We usually rent privately. This year we needed one more condo and rented directly from the Rental Office and with the huge huge problem of both bathrooms unusable we were very disappointed with the "service" for getting it was NOT fixed tho guys tried. However, we were pleased with the management and their desire to hear us, work with us, and make it right after we abandoned the condo and were leaving for home. Thank you very much. An out of state friend accompanied me and I took a lot of time looking for just the right unit, this unit showed an AWesome view but when we arrived we looked at a parking lot..VERY DISSAPOINTED..had I not taken the time to find the perfect view it would have been different and was expecting a view it would have been acceptable but I WAS EXPECTING A WONDERFUL VIEW and IT WAS NOT THERE..feel I was mislead by the site pictures. If I had to do it again, would of chosen to Camp instead!!!If view is not there the site should of not shown it there. The unit was very large for our needs. An olderfurnished, but well kept up unit.
