Deadbolt lock is difficult to key, the noise from the boiler was distracting, but the views made up for most of that. Buffalo Ridge Joel C. from st. joseph, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2012 There were about 5 lightbulbs out and a broken lamp, so we didn't have much lighting. We loved the HUGE pile of wood and fireplace! The vacuum cleaner didn't work- the bag backfired. Also, it would be much better if there were a recycling disposal bin at the complex. We had to take all recyclables back to Minnesota. Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals On behalf of Wildernest Vacation Rentals, we would like to apologize for the maintenance issues mentioned. Please note that we are here 24/7 to take care of any of those issues. We can easily send someone up to replace the bulbs and we can send someone to purchase a new lamp and vacuum on the owner's behalf. There is a local recycle center, but unfortunately, you would have to drive to it, b/c Silverhorne does not have a pick-up service. Nice but noisey heating A guest from Colorado Springs, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 This property has very very noisey heating. The noise and vibrations from the heating systems kept us awake at night. Otherwise great location, awesome views and nice Condo.
