Extended Stay Darryll S. from Woodbridge, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 90 days in January, 2013 We rented Timber Ridge 502 as an "extended stay" for 3 months which is an exceptional deal. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit and the Club House is fantastic. We did have a problem with a stove burner not functioning properly and the Management replaced it immediately. Walkways were shoveled as soon as it snowed, etc. The management company is pretty much on top of everything. The unit is in good shape and everything functioned as it should. The only issue, as mentioned in other reviews, is that this particular unit on the first floor is one of the few in Timber Ridge, that does not have windows on the back side. There are three 2.5 X 7 ft glass panes in both the living room and bedroom, with an external door in each room containing one of the glass panes. The only problem is that on a clear sunny day, even with the pull blinds closed, and the outside temperatures very cold, the unit can heat up to 75 to 81 degrees. The sun in that thin air can really heat things up! Since there are no windows to leave slightly open, there is no way to keep the temperature down while you're away. The only way to cool the unit back down to a normal temperature upon returning, is to leave the doors wide open. The unit does have full length screens which can be slid over the door openings. Other than that minor issue it is a great comfortable unit, well stocked with all the comforts of home. We recommend it and will be renting from Wildernest next year. Good value A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Our main complaint was the lack of ventilation at night. There are no windows that open for fresh air; so we needed to either keep the door open or use a fan at night for ventilation. Also, the odor from the bathroom is probably from the carpet. I would love to see tile floors in this bathroom. Otherwise very satisfied with this property.
