Minus a few items the place was clean and ready when we arrived. The decor was aptly applied for the season. The views were heavenly with the fall colors popping out everywhere. We were happy with the seclusion this cabin provided from electronic communication devices, and the separation between cabins. We were "Living the Dream" while we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and all its amenities. Playing pool while looking out at the mountains, sitting in the jacuzzi and looking at the surrounding nature...absolutely heavenly. We are hopping to return soon or invest in our own cabin. The eating utencils were micro mini like eating with a toddler's fork. Now. For the was awesome. Beautiful home, great deck with view, community pool was enjoyed just a stimulating hike away. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 Most everything was great.. the one thing that was unsatisfactory was that we kept the air conditioning down to 69 each day but when we came back in the evening the cabin was hot from all the sunshine through the windows. the ones that stayed in the bunk bed room didn't cool off all night and didn't rest well... the upstairs didn't ever get comfortable.. The house was everything as advertised on your site - and more! Great view and great accommodations! A perfect place to relax and as a base for our Smoky Mountain explorations. Great staff. Very responsive! We had an issue with o e of the jacuzzis not working. Within 15 minutes of my reporting the problem someone was at the house. They needed to go out for a part, but had the thing fixed within a few hours. Definitely a place to come backto again! Our new home away from home!!! A guest from Riegelwood, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 We had a great weekend get away here at Living the dream! The cabin itself was was very clean and seemed to have everything that we needed. We did buy some extra paper towels and garbage bags because we had a group of 6 staying for the weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing. We didn't mind driving all the way up the mountain but if you are not comfortable driving up and down the winding narrow roads this isn't the cabin for you because it's very very high up. Some of us had cell service while others had to wait until they were half way down the mountain before they had it. Word of advice, ask the rental company if there is any events going on during the time of your stay!!!! There was a "Rod Run" the weekend we went and the traffic was absolutely HORRIBLE! No phone in the cabin is a safety issue. Vidie L. from Ralph, AL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 The cabin was very nice and very clean, but the refridgerator was not cold when we got there and it took a day and a half before it was semi cool and it still didn't work like it should and there was no phone, which is not good since there is no cell phone service and we had 3 children and 2 elderly people with us, what if we would have had to call 911. It would have been nice for the property owner to offer internet service for the price we paid for the cabin. We have stayed in 2 other cabins there in the past and was very happy with them, that is why we choose to come back there And we really enjoy coming to Tennessee. We have enjoyed every dinner and show we have been to, and everything else we have done. We really love it up there around Christmas time with all the decorations,especially the first year we came in 2007 with the way Brothers Cove was all decorated and the cabin was to. A wonderful Christmas trip in the Smokies! A guest from Peachtree City, Georgia recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 We loved the cabin - it was absolutely beautiful and wow! what a view! The cabin was very clean and we had lots of towels and very comfortable beds. Maybe a good paring knife, a pitcher, and a few spices might be nice for the kitchen. We had no cellphone service at this location and no wi-fi. It was peaceful, but we couldn't make any reservations for things in town without a phone or the internet. We were very high up in the mountains and when the wind blew really hard it made for a long night! The cabin was a great place all-in-all to spend the holiday with our family!! Just wanted to let others know you are way up in the mountains! This cabin was fine but the experience was awful! A guest from Smyrna, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 We picked this particular cabin (God's Gift) because we were having a personal chef cook for my mom's 60th birthday. When I arrived the table shown in the pictures was replaced with an island and bar stools. This was a problem because my grandmother couldn't sit on a bar stool. The maintenance man brought a table in for us to have dinner. We didn't have enough silverware and had to borrow that too. I would think that if it sleeps 16 there should be at least that many utensils. There was a dead roach in the basket that was brought in. The maintenance man told me there was a dehumidifier in the cabins back bedroom. I thought it would be fine. It smelled terrible and has standing water in the bedroom by bed time so we were not able to use the bedroom at all. We had to send one of our guests home and used all the couches. The cabin also listed 5.5 bathrooms and we could only use 3.5 because one of the bathrooms was locked and un-usable and the other was in the flooded bedroom. They moved us to another cabin (Livin the Dream) the next night. It was smaller and only had 4 bedrooms. When we go to that cabin the oven didn't work and it was dinner time. We had cooked a roast all day and were upset we couldn't cook the sides or dessert. The office said they knew the oven didn't work before they moved us and told us it would be fixed the next day. The office did try to accommodate our needs as the problems presented themselves but this was not a relaxing experience. We paid $500+ a night and it was all a big hassle. I won?t rent from this group again since this experience was so much worse than our other one in Brothers Cove. The first night we stayed in Mountain Memories and discovered bed bugs really bad in the one bedroom. The staff was very good at getting us to a new place but then we had to spend a day washing everything we own or throwing it away. make sure to check beds in cabins when visiting. From everything I have heard they are not fun to get in your house, hard to get rid of. Beautiful Cabin A guest from Byron Center, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 I know it would be difficult to show all aspects of each unit, but I would have been disappointed with a cabin totally surrounded with trees with no view. We were lucky enough to get a cabin with a fairly decent view of the landscape. Our cabin was beautifully furnished and we enjoyed the rustic interior. The cabin was clean and well maintained.
